What a week it has been for Britney Spears and 2013 should get even more interesting for her, as it was announced that Britney Spears and Jason Trawick end engagement. This comes as a huge shocker for me because there were no signs of a Britney and Jason break up, but maybe it is all playing out now. Earlier this week, Britney announced she was quitting The X Factor USA to focus on her new album, so that is one busy girl. Now Britney Spears is single again, so where does she go from here? And what happened between Britney and Jason to cause the split?

It has been reported that Britney Spears fired as a judge on The X Factor USA 2012, but now it seems that Simon Cowell may want her to return to The X Factor USA Season 3! Reports have said that Britney Spears is too boring and not good on live TV and FOX and Simon Cowell are not happy with her performance on The X Factor 2012, but Simon Cowell has now stepped forward in support of Britney. It is all talk now, but I think Britney is a goner from The X Factor USA 2012.

It has only been a week since Tate Stevens was announced the winner of The X Factor USA 2012, but he must get to work and not soak in the victory for too long as it was announced he will replace American Idol winner Phillip Phillips as a performer on Fox’s New Year’s Eve Live! Both of them owe their victories to Fox’s hit reality singing competition shows, but do you think it is a stab to the back for Phillips to back out because of “schedule conflicts?” The X Factor USA Season 2 winner Tate Stevens is not complaining, I am sure!

We all saw LeAnn Rimes perform with Carly Rose Sonenclar on The X Factor USA 2012 Finale, but was LeAnn Rimes drunk on The X Factor USA Season 2? Rumors are going around about the country singer and being wasted while singing with the 13-year-old. I would not be surprised if she was drunk or on some kind of drugs, but the performance was a hot mess and she looked and sounded worse. American Idol 2013 judge Randy Jackson was not happy to hear the news L. A. Reid is leaving rival talent show The X Factor after season 2 ends. L. A. Reid announced on Thursday he would not be returning for The X Factor 2013 season 3. Randy Jackson said L. A. Reid is a “dear friend” and was sad to hear he won’t be continuing as a judge on The X Factor season 3, even if it does compete with American Idol 2013.

Big news last night out of The X Factor 2012 Season 2 camp last night and not the fact that in a shocking elimination Emblem 3 went home on The X Factor USA 2012, but in an interview beforehand L.A. Reid announced that he would be leaving the show as a judge when this season finishes! I am shocked by this news, but could it be the constant fighting between Simon Cowell and L.A. that made him make this decision? L.A. Reid quitting as a judge on The X Factor Season 2 means we will have another off-season of rumors flying around on who will be the next judge on The X Factor 2012!
