Disney is one happy company right now. Disney Chairman Bob Iger has announced that Joss Whedon has signed on to write and direct a sequel to the mega-hit movie The Avengers. All comic book nerds rejoice! Whedon wrote and directed the blockbuster summer hit The Avengers and Disney is riding those coattails. The adaptation of the Marvel Comics series has taken in nearly $1.5 billion worldwide in just three months…not too shabby.
