With a new season of MasterChef 2013 kicking off tomorrow night, it is a perfect time for MasterChef Season 3 winner Christine Ha to release her winning cookbook, Recipes From My Home Kitchen. The journey Christine Ha took while competing on Season 3 was amazing and she brought a tear to my eye every episode. I was rooting for her from the beginning and was shocked that someone legally blind could cook so amazingly well. What will MasterChef Season 4 bring us? Time will tell, but we caught up with Season 3 winner Christine Ha to talk about her new cookbook, life after winning and much more. The reality TV world family keeps growing and growing. I reported of The Amazing Race winner Jen Hoffman delivering a baby girl over the weekend and now it seems that Graham Elliot and his wife have welcomed a new son into their family and into the MasterChef 2012 family! MasterChef 2012 judge Graham Elliot and his wife, Allie, welcomed their new son, Jedediah Lindsay Bowles, on Saturday, August 25th, he confirmed with People Magazine (check out a picture of Jedediah below).

We have all come to love her on MasterChef 2012, but new information has come out on Christine Ha, the blind contestant on MasterChef Season 3. Christine Ha has surprised me with her ability to cook and plate food on MasterChef 2012 with being blind (and I’ll admit it, she has even made me cry), but Fox has announced that the stand-out competitor on MasterChef Season 3 is not 100% blind!

MasterChef 2012: Season 3 Premiere Part One-Recap

Today was the premiere of Gordon Ramsey’s MasterChef 2012. The show began by reminding viewers what the MasterChef 2012 could win. Some of the prizes this year included a $250,000 grand prize, and their own cookbook. After touring around the country, they narrowed it down to some of the best home chefs around the country. These chefs had to present their best dish to judges Gordon Ramsey, Joe Bastianich, and Graham Elliot.

Not all the contestants were knockout finalist, and only a few made it to the next round. Tonight views were treated with some hilarious misfires, tear-worthy triumphs, and standout dishes and contestants. So what happened on tonight’s premiere of MasterChef 2012?
