After admitting to putting former President George W. Bush’s head on a stake in a Season 1 episode of the hit HBO show, Game of Thrones, HBO and Game of Thrones producers have issued apologies for their actions. In a DVD commentary for Episode 10 of Season 1, Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss explained that one of the decapitated heads was actually a George W. Bush replica.
We knew that the Game of Thrones season 2 finale would be a grand affair, but even I didn’t expect to be clinging to the edge of my sofa cushion quite so hard. With enough loose ends to drive any fan mad, the final episode of season 2 set us all up for a spectacular third season – and ensures that we will tune in.
