Tonight either Kree Harrison or Candice Glover will be crowned the winner of American Idol 2013. Both women are deserving of the title, but it will come down to who has more fans. Currently, both women have about an equal shot at winning, because they have a rabid fanbase who will support them no matter what the outcome. Unlike some of the more recent seasons, the American Idol 2013 first place and second place winners may be an extremely close race.

The winner’s single can have a great impact on who wins American Idol 2013. Last season, Philip Philips may have received more votes than Jessica Sanchez in the final weeks before the finale, but no one can deny that his winner’s single, ‘Home,’ helped push him to victory. This shows how important the winner’s single can be for the finalists. Last night on American Idol 2013, both Kree Harrison and Candice Glover had similar themes in their songs. Both songs were about not letting bad relationships break you–though Kree’s song had a little bit of ambiguity. Despite the similarity, did one person’s song outshine the others?

They have a pretty intense line-up of performers for tonight’s show, among them are Carly Rae Jepsen, Psy, Jennifer Lopez, the list goes on and on!
