This was an impressive finale! I didn’t think Rookie Blue would top last year’s. I know, how silly of me! This year the finale leaves us with far more unanswered questions, and far more possible ways things could go. That’s because there are so many stories going on through this!
“Under Fire” is a stellar Rookie Blue episode! I didn’t think this was possible, but this week the show is even more packed than last week. Some shows will try to fill an episode up by throwing everything but the kitchen sink in the mix. Rookie Blue is more like watching the perfect game of Tetris: all these odd pieces come together and make a perfect fit.
The best way to describe this week’s Rookie Blue episode is…introspective. “We Are Here” has everyone dealing with personal issues such as self-worth, self-identity, and as usual, relationships. There’s a restless discontent occurring for our friends at the 15th Precinct. So, although the Rookie Blue case action is low-key this week, it that doesn’t mean interesting things don’t happen. Not by a long shot!
Rookie Blue 4×8, “For Better, For Worse” – Recap/Review: Someone Old, Someone New, Someone Borrowed, Someone Blue
Relationships are complicated and life can throw you curve balls. That’s the message I got from “For Better For Worse” – this week’s Rookie Blue. However, complicated doesn’t have to mean bad. Confusing perhaps, but not bad. Rookie Blue managed to do an episode where no one was left out of the relationship questions – even adding words of wisdom from our rookies’ elders. This was a very busy episode!
