American Idol 2012 winner Phillip Phillips had his much-needed kidney surgery on June 7, as reported right here, and he went to his Twitter account to show his love to his fans. Phillip Phillips, recovering at an American Idol 2012 executive’s mansion in Los Angeles, sent a tweet to his fans thanks them for their support: “It means a lot to my family and I. I’m just resting and healing.” Phillips went on to say that he’s “ready to be able to pick the guitar back up and really play, it’s been too long.”
After months of pain, American Idol 2012 winner Phillip Phillips is slowly on his way to being pain-free after undergoing his much-needed kidney surgery. After dealing with kidney stone issues throughout all of American Idol 2012, according to TMZ, Phillip was under the knife for six and a half hours yesterday to remove kidney stones that were too large to pass.
