Here at GossipandGab.com, we just love FAILs of all varieties. That and LOLcats, but pretend you didn’t just hear that… Anyway, back to the FAILs. One of our favorite categories of FAIL videos is anything involving weathermen.

Why? Because it is honestly just one of the most ridiculous jobs on TV. You stand in front of a blank, green screen and gesture vaguely at a bunch of maps while making predictions that may or may not be wildly inaccurate based on what Mother Nature actually decides her mood is for the day. Meanwhile, you try not to sound A: boring or B: like an idiot. For some reason, this leads to a whole lot of weatherman FAIL videos posted on YouTube and around the Net. For your viewing (and laughing) pleasure today, we’ve brought you some of our favorite weather FAIL videos in a handy montage collection from The Huffington Post.

The Hunger Games movie, based on the hit young-adult novel by Suzanne Collins, is one of the most highly-anticipated films of the year. Anyone who has read and loved the book has been biting their nails in anticipation of what director Gary Ross is going to do to such beloved material. Thankfully, from The Hunger Games movie trailers we’ve seen so far, it is look like the movie adaption is going to kick some serious butt.

From what we’ve seen in The Hunger Games movie official trailer videos released so far, director Gary Ross has beautifully captured the spirit of the novel in action and the charasmatic power of the lead characters. I am already solidly in love with Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, even after only seeing her for a few rushed minutes in these far-too-short previews. Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark also looks strong, although I am already betting Lawrence is going to overshadow him every time they are on screen together.

Frankly we’re pretty much sick of the Celebrity Apprentice and wish it would vanish into that dark, hidden world where all bad television shows eventually are consigned to. When it finally does vanish from this good Earth in a blaze of fire, we will say ‘good riddance’ and be glad to never have to hear Donald Trump say “you’re fired!” ever again. Meanwhile, however, every very rare once and a while we do get something so ridiculous from that terrible show that we can’t help but laugh – a little.

Since it is such an extremely unlikely place to find a good laugh, we decided we had to share it just for posterity’s sake. Check out this stupendously amusing 30-second commercial created by Team Backbone for ACN’s new videophone as part of the most recent battle on Celebrity Apprentice. It may have won the top spot on the show for the best ad spot, but as a standalone video it is surreal & hilarious.  Gary Busey is scary, seriously dudes.

Another slice of pie, anyone? Our favorite actors are gearing up to serve another heaping helping of American Pie.

 That’s right. Yet another American Pie movie. While the first three were, at the best, juvenile humor, it might be interesting in what the fourth installment holds in store. Honestly, though, how do you improve the iconic phrase from the first movie? “ One time, at band camp…”

34 year old hottie, Seann William Scott is joining fellow cast mates Jason Biggs and Eugene Levy are set to reprise their famous roles. Negotiations are ongoing for Thomas Ian Nicholas, Tara Reid, Chris Klein, Mena Suvari and Jennifer Coolidge. I am sure that with some of the cast in place, prices will be increased, to get the remainder of the ensemble on board. Because really, can America really grow tired of these now adults running around pulling childish pranks and creating gross-but-have-to-laugh situations? The answer is simple. No. America will eat this up entirely, prompting a part five and six. Will I watch? Probably. Will I laugh? Only secretly. Outwardly, I will act disgusted, as a properly raised woman should. Make no mistake, if the latest movie is as funny as the first three, I will indeed be laughing on the inside.

Seann, commonly known as Steve Stilfler, is currently receiving treatment for his health and personal reasons. He voluntarily entered treatment this past Tuesday. “Seann William Scott has voluntarily admitted himself for proactive treatment to address health and personal issues,” the reps said in a statement. “He appreciates the support of his many fans at this time.

According to his agent, Seann’s treatment is not expected to affect production, set to begin filming on May 24.

Aside from the Pie trilogy, Seann is widely known for his portrayal of Bo Duke in The Dukes of Hazzard movie. In addition, he has starred in Cop Out with Bruce Willis and also leant his voice for the Ice Age animated movies. Prior to checking himself into treatment, he finished shooting Goon.

A few days ago the second episode of the current season’s “Celebrity Apprentice” aired. While David Cassidy provided some interesting discussions in the board room, that didn’t even compare to the drama in last Sunday’s episode.

Teams Backbone and A.S.A.P had the challenge this week of writing a children’s book and then bring the story to life in front of four and five year olds. Sounds simple enough, right? Not for these arrogent, headstrong celebs. The men seemed to work together pretty well, but the women…well, that is another story.

Star pushed and pushed for Lisa to be Project Manager, and Lisa reluctantly accepted. This was the first step in her demise. Lisa didn’t have the leadership skills, or the backbone to handle strong personalities such as the bitchy Star Jones and Dionne Warwick. These ladies are out to win, not to make friends. Which is good for Dionne, as she hasn’t done a good job of making any. Marlee Matlin was offended by Dionne’s attitude regarding her sign language being incorporated into the book. In addition, Dionne claimed that she came up with the book’s concept, and wanted her name on the front cover, alongside Star. Star did do the writing and all, but Dionne felt as though her name should stand out as well. Lisa finally stood up to the heifers and told them that the byline would be listed as A.S.A.P, as it was a group effort. Lisa continued to let Star and Dionne push her around throughout the remainder of the show.

Over at backbone, Meatloaf volunteered to be Project Manager. He says that he loves children, and his whole performance showed that emotion to be true. He delegated assignments, and things for the guys seemed to run pretty smooth, even with Gary Busey’s total lack of focus.

Both teams performed well for the children, but the men’s play seemed to draw in the kids’ attention more. They are the ones that ended up winning the challenge. So, this left Lisa having to answer some difficult questions from the Donald. She was totally thrown under the bus, and didn’t do much to save herself in the boardroom. .

When Lisa was called back into the boardroom, it was not surprising that she brought Star and Dionne back with her. She was like a lamb surrounded by wolves. It was pretty sad to watch actually. Lisa came across as a nice, reserved gal, who couldn’t hold her own against these two. That kind of attitude ultimately got her fired from the show.

Another star-filled episode airs this Sunday on NBC.

Johnny Knoxville is thinking over playing the part of  Moe in an upcoming screen remake of “The Three Stooges.” This part will allow him to be himself while in character.

 The movie has been in the works for years. The concept belongs to brothers Peter and Bobby Farrelly and once they have the lead man cast, they will begin the search for the other two stooges. I have read where Jim Carrey was interested in the part, and I feel that he and Knoxville would mesh well together as the title characters. Both are great at physical humor, while Knoxville absolutely rocks at taking beatings. His physical endurance to pain will allow the script to be much more than the original show, with the comedy being real as opposed to staged.

It has been reported that with Knoxville being considered, it could change the demographics of the movie. Younger actors might be considered to compliment Knoxville and to catch the audience of a younger generation. Johnny Knoxville is widely famous for his works in the “JackAss” TV show and movies. His risk taking at stunts and crazy antics kept viewers tuned in for every episode. Merchandise for the series brought in huge revenues. In addition to his work on “JackAss,” Knoxville gained popularity in such films as “The Ringer” and “The Dukes of Hazzard.”

The Three Stooges have brought laughter to many generations, and reruns can still be seen today. There is something evergreen about off-kilter men opening doors into each other, hitting each other on the head, and all the other silly antics that made the stooges a household name.

The film does have the green light, and is moving full-steam ahead. The film is rated PG and consists of three 27 minutes segments. This movie will bring part of American Pop Culture back to the big screen, and will hopefully revive Knoxville’s presence in the movie world as well.

I have been anxiously awaiting the season premiere of “Celebrity Apprentice” since the end of last season. At long last, the show premiered March 6th.  This truly, and sadly, is my favorite TV show out there. It is just so contagious, who doesn’t want to hear Donald Trump tell some other overpaid, under worked actor that they are fired? It is brilliant TV, just brilliant.

So, this season has an all-star lineup of crazies, housewives, singers, actors and athelets. Jose Caseco and Meatloaf in the boardroom together, need I say more?

The premiere was great. The players were divided men vs. women. Right off the bat, Gary Busey reminded America why he has the repuation as a crazy, but fun, guy. While he was turned down, Busey thought a good name for the men’s team would be “Sperm Farmers”. Also presented for consideration was Lil Jon’s idea, “The Winners.” Thank goodness they didn’t use that, Charlie Sheen would be threatening to sue.

The men’s team, with the decided name of “Backbone”, is made up of David Cassidy, John (Big and Rich) Rich, Mark (SugarRay) McGrath, Meatloaf, Richard (Survivor) Hatch, Jose Canseco, Gary Busey and Lil Jon.

The women’s team came up with a long, hard to explain acronym. The creator of the name LaToya Jackson, even had trouble keeping it straight. It is A.S.A.P. That would be have been simple enough, Asap. But no, A.S.A.P. stands for Actors,Singers, Authors and Professionals. I say I think, because while I was watching Star Jones try several times to get the story right, I honestly lost interest. In addition to these two ladies, there is NeNe Leakes, the housewife; Marlee Matlin; Lisa Rinna, daytime TV star; Dion Warwick, Hope Dworaczyk, playmate; and Nikki Taylor, supermodel.

The teams first challege was to see which team could make the most pizza, and the most dough. While the leader of “backbone” was busy pushing a guy with no backbone, David Cassidy, around and barking orders at everyone else; the women’s team worked together and won the challenge. Star Jones was the team’s leader, and won money for her charity, $115,000 went to the American Heart Association. In addition, $35,000 went to Nikki’s charity, American Red Cross.

Since the men lost, and Richard was the team captain, he chose to bring Jose and David back into the board room with him, where one would be fired. I could see the outcome of this a mile away. David wouldn’t stand up for himself, until Jose told him to man up a bit. Jose refrained from phyiscally harming Richard, and with David being different than the rest of the team, he was let go. How boring would the show be if there were no conflict, just a team full of Davids? So, patridge family heart-throb David Cassidy was sent home at the end of week one.

Other than the bullying displayed by Richard, a true highlight of the hour long drama was watching Gary Busey try to silence his ringing cell phone–while in the board room. He was given a “You’re Fired” by the Donald, but only for a hearty laugh from all the other cast members.

 All in all, it is going to be a good season. While Meatloaf and Busey seemed be good friends, teasers show Meatloaf threatening Busey, saying that Busey is going to end up in the hospital in about four minutes….Yeah, let the smack talk begin!

Tune in Sunday evenings for Donald Trump, and the Celebrity Apprentice.

Here’s something that would make you swear off drinking, smoking, talking on the cell-phone while driving, and all those other terrible vices – a house being carried through the air by a ton of balloons. Hallucinating? Not at all. It’s just an experiment for a brand new show. Sometimes I think I must be a real stick-in-the-mud. I saw the Pixar movie Up and really enjoyed it. I thought the adventure was fun and the flying house was pretty cool, but I never ever considered if it could be done in real life. Cartoon = fiction, right? Yep, but fiction can sometimes become reality.

National Geographic has a new series coming this fall called How Hard Can It Be? And they decided to find out how hard it would be to really use balloons to make a house fly. Sure, it’s not an actual full-sized house; only 16 by 16 feet, but like the old saying goes, “It’s not the size that matters.”

The National Geographic Channel teamed up with Pixar, two balloon pilots, engineers, scientists, and a group of volunteers who probably felt like the luckiest people on the planet.

300 three-meter-tall weather balloons, each filled with a tank of helium, were used to lift the house into the air from a private airfield in Los Angeles on Saturday. The real-life Up house reached an altitude of over 3,000 meters and flew for almost an hour, before touching down for a safe landing.

Take a look at the video and then check out the awesome gallery of photos, which includes a great shot from inside the house and one of the balloon pilots who actually got to ride in the thing. I always knew I should have been putting my hot air to better use.

Russell Hantz, the Survivor everyone loves to hate, found redemption slipping from his grasp because of a Gilligan’s Island version of dominoes, and viewers saw something they probably never thought they’d see – a lying, back-stabbing, master manipulator cry at realizing his time in the longest-running reality TV series was over. He recently spoke with E! Online about his too-short third attempt at outwitting, outplaying, and outlasting the other players.

Russell has prided himself on being a competitive player, refusing to see himself as the villain simply because he goes hardcore when there’s prize money at stake. People who haven’t seen Russell away from the game might be shocked to hear the truth about his ‘Keep Hope Alive’ tattoo,

“I put it there because of season 19, but for so much more than that. I went to this Give Kids the World foundation [theme park in Orlando for children with life-threatening illnesses], and it’s the most depressing and great thing I’ve ever seen in my life. If I ever do anything like Celebrity Apprentice, that’s [the charity] I’m giving [my winnings] to. This little kid came up to me, itty-bitty kid, 4 or 5 years old, [recognized me], so he sat on my lap and took a picture. I looked at his mama, I seen the tears in her eyes, I told her, “Keep hope alive.” It’s so much more than a saying I said on TV. Your 5-year-old is dying of cancer—what else do you have. You have your God and you have hope that this can be a miracle. This is the villain speaking.”

Survivor fans that have seen the way Russell and Boston Rob tend to bump heads might also be surprised to find out the villain thinks Rob will walk away with a win… and he’s willing to put his money where his mouth is,

“I think he’s playing excellent. I think Rob is doing a great job. He has it under control. I don’t know what happens at the end of the day, but if anybody wants to make a bet with me right now, I’ll make the bet. I know how it feels when you have control of the tribe. My tribe’s about to fall to pieces because I’m not there. Mark my words.”

Of course, with Russell it’s not all about how great Rob is. In his opinion, the one threat that existed for the famous Boston Rob is simply no longer in the game,

“The only person who coulda took me out at the merge was Rob. If the merge happened I was the only one who coulda switched one of his teammates.”

Pretty big words of praise coming from an unlikely source, and I’m not completely certain Russell’s money would be safe. I’m a huge fan of Survivor and Boston Rob, but Rob’s tribe really isn’t the greatest at challenges and if his team keeps making regular visits to Tribal Council then I think it’s only a matter of time before his number comes up. On the other hand, with things going so bad, the tribe might decide a veteran of the game is their only hope of salvation.

Did you notice earlier that Celebrity Apprentice was mentioned? That might not be an accident. According to Russell,

“I’ll be back. It might not be Survivor, but I already have something in the works—and it’s gonna be good.”

Aside from a little casting news here and there, NBC and David E. Kelley have been pretty tight-lipped about details for the new Wonder Woman pilot, and now it looks like there’s been a pretty good reason for the secrecy – the new Wonder Woman blows.

The folks over at BleedingCool.com got their hands on a draft of the pilot script. I don’t know how and I’m not asking. Since it’s a draft, some changes could have occurred since the initial writing, or it could just be a decoy to conceal info about the actual plot. I’m sincerely hoping it’s one or the other.

On the bright side, the new WW does have a few elements and characters from the comic books. Don’t read any further if you don’t want to stumble across potential spoilers.

• Myndi Mayer appears in the show as Diana’s BFF. In the comic, she was Wonder Woman’s publicist so it’s not a big stretch.

• There’s a scene with candy addict, Etta Candy.

• She still has the lasso and bullet-deflecting bracelets.

• Steve Trevor is part of the backstory but there’s no word at the moment on if he’ll actually be in the show. Apparently, Trevor crashed onto Diana’s island and brought her back to New York, but they’ve split up since then. Diana’s still crushing on him in a big way. Realistic? Yes. Good for the plot? I’m thinking no.

• Her nemesis is Veronica Cale (Elizabeth Hurley), an “evil scientist and rival businesswoman.” Veronica also happens to be bi-sexual so expect sexual tension reminiscent of Batman and Catwoman.
  

I think that about wraps up the good stuff so now we can get to the rest.

• Diana will have three alter-egos this time around. In addition to being mousy Diana Prince and superhero Wonder Woman, she’ll also be Diana Themyscyra, the head of Themiscyra Industries. Think of a female Tony Stark.

• Just like Buffy in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Diana will have her own Scooby gang, consisting of a “CSI-ish group of science-nerd 20-somethings living in her basement that dance to Kanye West.”

• She relates to ET the Extra Terrestrial

• She loves planes, and while there’s no mention of an invisible plane, she does have a few that come in a variety of colors.

In addition to everything else, she also wants to be “among” people and not just “with” them. Your guess is as good as mine on what that means. She sings along to the radio (a lot) and there’s apparently a little something for everybody since song choices include Beyonce’s Single Ladies, One Way or Another by Blondie; Wonder of You by Jeffrey McDonald; Golddigger by Kanye West; Bad Romance by Lady Gaga; Last of the American Girls and Extraordinary Girl by Green Day; Pepinot by Les Choristes; and I Only Know How to Love by Christina Aguilera. Here’s something to consider; that’s just for one episode.

I don’t know about you, but I’m really hoping this thing dies before it makes it to the small screen. I wonder if DC could sue because of the network’s intent to do serious harm to one of their characters.
