Finalist Paul McDonald may have lost on the top spot on American Idol, but what he took home from the show is better than any reality show title — true love! McDonald and Twilight star Nikki Reed, whom he was lucky to meet during an American Idol excursion, are reportedly engaged to be married only a few months after they started dating!

Rumors the couple were engaged reached a flash point at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards when Nikki Reed was seen wearing what looked suspiciously like an engagement ring. When questioned by E! News, Reed was so excited about her new love that she repeated herself, saying: “He’s the one. He’s the one.”

E! News reports that Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald are indeed engaged, according to an unidentified source. Reed says her new fiancé has been writing a slew of songs about her and says “he’s going to release a Nikki Reed EP.”

Reed told People in May that she didn’t care how people perceived her whirlwind romance with McDonald. “I’ve never met anyone who has such a good solid heart and comes from such a good solid family and is just a genuine person,” Reed said. “We have the exact same sense of humor. I’ve never laughed so much with anyone as I do with him.”

It has absolutely been Charlie Sheen‘s year. The tweets, articles and news interviews began around February and not a week goes by that there isn’t some new story about Charlie Sheen and his crazy life. While the most interesting topics may have been sucked dry, no worries. Charlie will continue to find the most petty things to argue and complain about.

Case in point…. Charlie and ex-wife Denise Richards had two dogs together when they were a couple. Upon divorcing the self-proclaimed ‘warlock’, Denise left the two pugs in his care. She did so for her girls, so they could play with the pugs while at Charlie’s house. Things were fine, and there was no complaints about this arrangement.

According to Denise, she was informed by several people that the dogs were not being properly cared for, and were both very malnourished. This was during the time of the hotel room break-down earlier this year. Denise went to Charlie, and asked for the dogs back, and he gave them to her. Sadly, one was not able to be nursed back to health and died a short period after being rescued by Denise.

Today, there is a problem. Earlier this morning, Charlie went to his twitter account, now holding the attention of over three million followers. He blasted Denise for stealing the dogs.  This was the post on his Twitter account: “We must bombard with Warlock Napalm, that traitor and loser whore #DUH-neese POOR-ards. a vile kidnapper and now dog thief.”

Denise was quick to defend herself, and is standing firm. She won’t return the dogs, as it is clear to her, and the sane portion of America, that Charlie Sheen “can’t even take care of himself.”

Charlie is still gearing up for his tour. A stage, a chair and Charlie. That is the upshot of the “concert.” Charlie will sit and rant about all who have done him wrong. Could be a long night for ticket holders. Conan O’Brien also went to Twitter, expressing his thoughts of Charlie’s concerts. “Charlie Sheen is doing a 21-city comedy tour. Being a mentally unstable out of work TV star on tour was my idea.”

It is hard to predict just when the craziness and the “winning” will end, but for now, continue to see many more headlines with Charlie Sheen as the subject. His followers, and his hijinks aren’t going to slow down anytime soon.

If you think that Charlie Sheen is going to come out loser after being fired from the hit show, Two and a Half Men, you might want to think again. Turns out Charlie really is winning. His upcoming one-man show/concert – whatever the heck you want to call it - Charlie Sheen LIVE: My Violent Torpedo of Truth, is selling out as soon as the tickets go on sale. His first show set at New York’s 6,000 seat Radio City Music Hall, sold out in under 30 minutes. When a second concert was set for the same venue, it too quickly sold out.

So, what are folks willing to fork over in order to see the ranting mad man? Anywhere from $79.50 to $519. In order to do a meet and greet with him, audience members can plan on spending $750. It is for a good cause, I suppose, as $1 per ticket is being donated to the Red Cross Japanese Earthquake Fund.

The Radio City show wasn’t the only venue to sell out. Another show sold out in just mere minutes, partly due to Charlie’s tweets. On Saturday, he posted one of his catch phrases, “Winning”.More shows have gone on sale, in places such as Cleveland, Columbus, NYC, Connecticut and Boston. All sold out, naturally.

 Sheen promises on Ticketmaster’s Web site. “This IS where you will hear the REAL story from the Warlock. Bring it. I dare you to keep up with me.”

What do all the sold tickets mean for Charlie? Revenue, revenue and even more outrageous amounts of revenue. It has been reported that Charlie will make $7 million dollars during the run of his tour. Each show is estimated to bring him anywhere from $250,000 to $275,000. That isn’t counting the merchandise that will be sold. Crazy.  

 $7 million. For ranting. What messages can be spoken, to allow him to earn such an unworldly amount of dough? Well, I am sure that messages like he is special, with tiger blood pumping through his veins, and other phrases that have been overly stated. It is unreal that such a frenzy has encircled this man.

Of course he is going to feel like a winner, America is providing him the funds and the ego, to continue feeling like he is invincible. It is very safe to say that he will in no way be missing the stage of Two and a Half Men. Ever.

A lot has been going on in the life of Charlie Sheen these days. Other celebrities have been speaking out about his unique situation, and agree that he needs some sort of help. Alec Baldwin publicly gave Charlie some good advice.

The thought out words by Alec were made with good intentions, but they also are too late to help. Charlie’s trailer was removed for the Warner Bros set last week. That is just another sign that the execs really have moved on. At this point, I feel that Charlie doesn’t stand a chance in regaining his role on “Two and a Half Men.”

The advice from Alec is this: “Take a nap. Get a shower. Call Chuck. Go on Letterman and make an apology. Write a huge check to the B’Nai Brith. And then beg for your job back. Your fans demand it.” The letter went on to state the obvious, something Charlie probably doesn’t want to hear. “You can’t win. You can’t.” One last piece of advice from Alec, ” Buy Cryer a new car.”

While Charlie is giving the appearance that he is moving onward and upward, close sources reveal the truth. They are worried about the situation escalating to suicide. Charlie revealed to UsWeekly that his lawyer wanted to remove the bullets from his gun. He has lost his job, his kids, and possibly touch with reality.

Sheen’s coworker,his TV mom is in full support of Charlie, and so far is the only member of the crew that has spoken publicly about Charlie. She states that he was always on time, delivered his lines perfectly, and that his personal life wasn’t an issue when at work.

Father of 5, Charlie has four young children, and their moms are smart to keep their babies out of harm’s way. Until Charlie gets control again, the children are safer not to be in that environment. Denise Richards, mom of Charlie’s two girls, has had primary physical custody for a few years now, while Brooke Mueller is just now going through her divorce. Brooke has twin boys with Charlie.

Other celebrities have voiced their opinion on the bizarre case. Donald Trump claims Charlie as a friend, but also says that he indeed does need help. Here’s hoping he finds the help that he apparently needs.

Larry the Cable guy was cast for the title role of “Tooth Fairy 2”, and was very excited to have earned the part. The only drawback he says is his character’s wardrobe, tight pink outfits and a tutu.

 In addition, the first film starred a hottie, “The Rock.” There was no fat or flab on him. Larry tells People.com, “The Rock is buff and ripped, so it was funny to see him dressed like the tooth fairy,” says Larry, 48. “But it’s even funnier to see a fat white guy in a tutu. I didn’t care that I was gaining weight. I thought that fatter was funnier.”

 Now that the movie is wrapping up, the comedian/actor admits he needs to lose weight to be healthier. It was just last year that the funny “get-er-done” man had lost 50 pounds. Due to a poor diet and inactivity, Larry says he has gained it all back. “I was down to 225 lbs. Now I weigh about 275 lbs. I’ve got a lot of work to do.” He has a plan this time, a plan that consists of simple, small changes. The fundamentals of weight loss are not a mystery to Larry. “I need to cut out sugar, not eat late at night, and do some cardio,” Larry told People.com “I get what needs to be done, but it’s hard work.”

To help keep himself on track with the task at hand, Larry has hired a personal trainer to help coach him through the dieting process. “A trainer is good,” he says, “but it’s ultimately up to me to do the work. I always joke that my wife gets me a trainer and I lose 50 lbs. by trying to run away from him. But I know I need to do something drastic.” When asked by people.com his ultimate weight loss goal, he had this to say: “I’d like to go down to a B-cup,” he quips. “No, I just need to get healthy. I’ve got a lot going on right now; I want to be healthy enough to enjoy it.”

Jewel is at home this weekend, recovering nicely after an accident Friday morning. While driving her Cadillac SRX, the singer/actress was hit by a fire truck.

She was released from the hospital, with the assurance doctors that she and her unborn baby would be just fine. Thirty-six year old Jewel admits that the accident could have been a lot worse, and says that her car protected her and her baby. “One thing I do know is my car saved my & my baby’s life,” Jewel Tweeted. “Definitely going 2 get another Cadillac SRX! It absorbed all the damage & kept me safe!”

Doctor’s orders were received upon release. He ordered that her work-outs be temporarily stopped, so Jewel will just enjoy some rest and relaxation over the weekend. ”I’m just going to take it easy this weekend. Just a little sore and banged up – but feeling so blessed this morning,” she tweeted. It was in January that Jewel and husband Ty Murray announced that they were going to have a baby. Jewel also disclosed that the couple had been trying for two years. This is the couple’s first child.

 Jewel has several albums, and has made quite a name for herself in the music world. She hasn’t been a stranger to the world of television, either. She was co-host of “Nashville Star” and has appeared in shows like “7th Heaven” and “CSI:Crime Scene Investigation.”

 Ty Herndon has also made a name for himself in the rodeo circuits. Murray was the reserve world champion (2nd place) bull rider in the PBR in the years 1999, 2000, and 2001. He has also been a contestant on “Dancing With The Stars.” Jewel had been signed up to be a contestant on the show as well, during the same season as her husband, but had to withdraw due to a knee injury.

Yes, that is right. The two have been a couple since 2007. Rumors have been swirling for some time that their relationship started to become a bit unstable.  The breakup has been a mutual,thought out decision, according to numerous sources.

Jessica, 29, and Justin, 30, are going their separate ways after more than three years together. The rumor mill was fast at work a few weeks ago, when Justin  was “pretty inseparable” from Mila Kunis at a Gala in Los Angeles, according to an observer. But a source  told PEOPLE  the “Friends with Benefits” costars were,  indeed just “friends.” The source added that Justin and Jessica were “happy in their relationship.”

The couple’s rep presented a joint statement on bahalf of the two stars. “Addressing the media speculation regarding Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake‘s relationship, we are confirming that they mutually have decided to part ways,” the statement read. “The two remain friends and continue to hold the highest level of love and respect for each other.”

Back in 2009, the couple presented a united front and proved the rumors wrong. It was said that the couple wasn’t having trouble, their work schedules were keeping them apart.

The two decided to end their relationship recently. According to People.com “there are no hard feelings. It was completely mutual and they both decided it was time to move on.” People’s source also declared that Jessica will keep the L.A. house, and will remain friends with Justin.

Jessica Biel is commonly known for her work in “7th Heaven”  where she played Mary for six seasons.  She also starred in such movies as “I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry”, “Summer Catch” and “The A-Team.”

Justin Timberlake made a new for himself as a member of the wildly-popular boyband, ‘N Sync. That was from 1995-2002, then his solo career really took flight. His 2004 album, Justified, sold more than 3 million albums. That same year, he made history with the Super Bowl half-time show. During his song with Janet Jackson,the two caused all future presentations to be on a three second delay, due to Janet’s  ”wardrobe malfunction.”

I have been anxiously awaiting the season premiere of “Celebrity Apprentice” since the end of last season. At long last, the show premiered March 6th.  This truly, and sadly, is my favorite TV show out there. It is just so contagious, who doesn’t want to hear Donald Trump tell some other overpaid, under worked actor that they are fired? It is brilliant TV, just brilliant.

So, this season has an all-star lineup of crazies, housewives, singers, actors and athelets. Jose Caseco and Meatloaf in the boardroom together, need I say more?

The premiere was great. The players were divided men vs. women. Right off the bat, Gary Busey reminded America why he has the repuation as a crazy, but fun, guy. While he was turned down, Busey thought a good name for the men’s team would be “Sperm Farmers”. Also presented for consideration was Lil Jon’s idea, “The Winners.” Thank goodness they didn’t use that, Charlie Sheen would be threatening to sue.

The men’s team, with the decided name of “Backbone”, is made up of David Cassidy, John (Big and Rich) Rich, Mark (SugarRay) McGrath, Meatloaf, Richard (Survivor) Hatch, Jose Canseco, Gary Busey and Lil Jon.

The women’s team came up with a long, hard to explain acronym. The creator of the name LaToya Jackson, even had trouble keeping it straight. It is A.S.A.P. That would be have been simple enough, Asap. But no, A.S.A.P. stands for Actors,Singers, Authors and Professionals. I say I think, because while I was watching Star Jones try several times to get the story right, I honestly lost interest. In addition to these two ladies, there is NeNe Leakes, the housewife; Marlee Matlin; Lisa Rinna, daytime TV star; Dion Warwick, Hope Dworaczyk, playmate; and Nikki Taylor, supermodel.

The teams first challege was to see which team could make the most pizza, and the most dough. While the leader of “backbone” was busy pushing a guy with no backbone, David Cassidy, around and barking orders at everyone else; the women’s team worked together and won the challenge. Star Jones was the team’s leader, and won money for her charity, $115,000 went to the American Heart Association. In addition, $35,000 went to Nikki’s charity, American Red Cross.

Since the men lost, and Richard was the team captain, he chose to bring Jose and David back into the board room with him, where one would be fired. I could see the outcome of this a mile away. David wouldn’t stand up for himself, until Jose told him to man up a bit. Jose refrained from phyiscally harming Richard, and with David being different than the rest of the team, he was let go. How boring would the show be if there were no conflict, just a team full of Davids? So, patridge family heart-throb David Cassidy was sent home at the end of week one.

Other than the bullying displayed by Richard, a true highlight of the hour long drama was watching Gary Busey try to silence his ringing cell phone–while in the board room. He was given a “You’re Fired” by the Donald, but only for a hearty laugh from all the other cast members.

 All in all, it is going to be a good season. While Meatloaf and Busey seemed be good friends, teasers show Meatloaf threatening Busey, saying that Busey is going to end up in the hospital in about four minutes….Yeah, let the smack talk begin!

Every TV network, radio station and newspaper is all about Charlie Sheen. Even on the video screens at  gas stations have audio, talking about him. I don’t think that a hermit could escape the world’s following of this off-kilter man.

What an exciting few months for Charlie Sheen, right? After being hospitalized for partying too hard, The Warner Brothers studio canceled a small amount of episodes from the remainder of this season’s hit show, “Two and a Half Men.” The motive behind this was to give Sheen a chance to complete rehab and return to work in an improved way. Instead of concentrating on himself, his actions were….well, everyone living everywhere, even under a rock, knows about Sheen’s rantings.

So, now the execs have fired Sheen for his bashing of the bosses. The question remains; will the show go on? My vote, yes. While both Rob Lowe and John Stamos have been potential replacements, only Lowe has gone on record, having turned down the work. Lowe has signed a multi-year contract with “Parks and Recreation.” I would like to see Stamos back on TV. I think that his fine-tuned acting skills would leave him being a natural fit to the very famous cast.

Sheen thought he was untouchable, THE show. He was the main character, but the thing about an ensemble cast, is that each member of that cast can be replaced. Looks like Sheen is about to find out he isn’t bulletproof.

His personal, well not-so-personal life isn’t going very well either. Soon-to-be ex-wife Brooke is involved in a custody battle with him over their twins, Bob and Max. As we all know, the boys were removed from his house, because of alleged death threats that he made to her. It was just published on TMZ.com that the two have reached an agreement for child visitation/custody. I am sure though, that in 30 minutes, this information will be out of date. Hopefully Sheen has learned to stay off of Twitter.

Ex-wife Denise Richards has also kept her kids at a distance from this entire mess. Not able to attend his daughter’s birthday party, but he did manage to put a call through to her. He is wanting to have a party for her at his house this Saturday,but Richards has put her foot down. I can see a second custody battle in the works, can’t you?

So, besides going on every news media show he could think of, besides Nancy Grace (don’t blame him for that, she would have devoured him); Sheen is busy writing up lawsuits. His latest is the report that he is suing Chuck Lorre, producer of “Men”, and Warner Bros.  for $100 Million. His lawyer claims that Sheen was fired when he was sick, which is state and national law.

 There is also the rumors about a new “Major League” movie, and a porn show, “Two and a Half Women”….

So, with all that is going on in Charlie Sheen’s life, it is no wonder he is hiring an intern to help him out. How many people have applied? Well, a small number, 74,000. With that many applicants, he is going to have to hire someone to hire the intern.

This whole situation is just a mess. The man has issues, and to say the least, needs some help. It is honestly sad to watch what fame, money and drugs to can do a person. For those of you ready to go a day without hearing about Sheen, well those days are probably far, far away.

Aside from a little casting news here and there, NBC and David E. Kelley have been pretty tight-lipped about details for the new Wonder Woman pilot, and now it looks like there’s been a pretty good reason for the secrecy – the new Wonder Woman blows.

The folks over at BleedingCool.com got their hands on a draft of the pilot script. I don’t know how and I’m not asking. Since it’s a draft, some changes could have occurred since the initial writing, or it could just be a decoy to conceal info about the actual plot. I’m sincerely hoping it’s one or the other.

On the bright side, the new WW does have a few elements and characters from the comic books. Don’t read any further if you don’t want to stumble across potential spoilers.

• Myndi Mayer appears in the show as Diana’s BFF. In the comic, she was Wonder Woman’s publicist so it’s not a big stretch.

• There’s a scene with candy addict, Etta Candy.

• She still has the lasso and bullet-deflecting bracelets.

• Steve Trevor is part of the backstory but there’s no word at the moment on if he’ll actually be in the show. Apparently, Trevor crashed onto Diana’s island and brought her back to New York, but they’ve split up since then. Diana’s still crushing on him in a big way. Realistic? Yes. Good for the plot? I’m thinking no.

• Her nemesis is Veronica Cale (Elizabeth Hurley), an “evil scientist and rival businesswoman.” Veronica also happens to be bi-sexual so expect sexual tension reminiscent of Batman and Catwoman.
  

I think that about wraps up the good stuff so now we can get to the rest.

• Diana will have three alter-egos this time around. In addition to being mousy Diana Prince and superhero Wonder Woman, she’ll also be Diana Themyscyra, the head of Themiscyra Industries. Think of a female Tony Stark.

• Just like Buffy in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Diana will have her own Scooby gang, consisting of a “CSI-ish group of science-nerd 20-somethings living in her basement that dance to Kanye West.”

• She relates to ET the Extra Terrestrial

• She loves planes, and while there’s no mention of an invisible plane, she does have a few that come in a variety of colors.

In addition to everything else, she also wants to be “among” people and not just “with” them. Your guess is as good as mine on what that means. She sings along to the radio (a lot) and there’s apparently a little something for everybody since song choices include Beyonce’s Single Ladies, One Way or Another by Blondie; Wonder of You by Jeffrey McDonald; Golddigger by Kanye West; Bad Romance by Lady Gaga; Last of the American Girls and Extraordinary Girl by Green Day; Pepinot by Les Choristes; and I Only Know How to Love by Christina Aguilera. Here’s something to consider; that’s just for one episode.

I don’t know about you, but I’m really hoping this thing dies before it makes it to the small screen. I wonder if DC could sue because of the network’s intent to do serious harm to one of their characters.
