The alleged ‘other woman’ in an Al Gore affair story is slamming a Star magazine report she had an affair with the former Vice President that led to the end of his 40-year marriage. Producer Laurie David, who worked with Al Gore on An Inconvenient Truth, says the affair rumor is completely false.

Laurie David, the ex-wife of Curb Your Enthusiasm star Larry David, told Time.com she did not have an affair with Al Gore. David said the Star magazine story about the alleged affair is “completely and totally untrue. I adore Al and Tipper and consider them part of my family. I’m in a committed relationship and couldn’t be happy.”

The newest issue of Star magazine, due on stands Wednesday, claims Al Gore and Laurie David had a two-year affair after working together on the Academy Award-winning documentary An Inconvenient Truth. This affair, Star claims, eventually led to Al Gore and wife Tipper Gore separating after 40 years of marriage.

Interestingly enough, Laurie David broke up with husband Larry David in 2007 amid rumors of an affair with a caretaker of their Martha’s Vineyard home. He and David are reportedly still together.

We aren’t quite sure what to think about the rather racy skit between young singing sensation Justin Bieber and 30 Rock star Tina Fey on Saturday Night Live this week. While we won’t deny we found it kind of funny to watch, we also felt a little disturbed at the sexual innuendo of the sketch.

In the SNL skit, Tina Fey plays an older teacher smitten with her younger student. In a series of fantasy daydreams, she imagines Bieber’s character singing cheesy pop songs at her and doing bizzare things like crawling into a giant baby stroller.

Maybe we’re a bit old fashioned, but we’re not quite sure what Justin Bieber’s parents were thinking letting him do a sketch where Tina Fey’s much older character fantasizes about “bathing” the teenage boy. The whole thing was both amusing and creepy.

Lindsay Lohan‘s father, Michael Lohan, has announced he is engaged to former Star magazine reporter Kate Major. Does anyone else just find this entirely too disturbing? This is the same blond bimbo who claimed she was all in love with former reality TV dad Jon Gosselin a while back.

Note to gossip writers of the world out there. Don’t cross the line and become the gossip you are supposed to be writing about. It’s just creepy and basically screams out “fame-whore” to the world at large.

When asked by UsWeekly.com about the news of her father’s engagement, Lindsay Lohan summed up our feelings in one word: “Yuck!” Lohan added that the whole idea of her father marrying Kate Major made her want to “vomit,” which we think is an appropriate response.

Even more gross, Michael Lohan told Access Hollywood he and Kate Major are getting it on “four times a night” in the effort to have a baby together. Oh great. Just what the world needs… another Lohan.

Jersey Shore‘s Snooki sure does know how to dance her ass off – right onto the ground! Apparently the MTV reality star was feeling a bit wobbly while she was dancing at the Shrine club in CT on Jan. 22. After weaving a bit on her feet, Snooki landed smack on her butt after falling on the dance floor. Of course, the whole thing was captured on video, because when does Snooki NOT have a camera shoved in her face at every opportunity?

Personally we think Jersey Shore is one of the most inane, vapid excuses for a television program we’ve ever seen. And that’s saying something coming considering how many reality TV programs we’re rabidly addicted to. You have to admit though, something about those Jersey Shore people has folks watching – the show is one of MTV’s biggest hits ever. We can’t figure it out, but maybe we just can’t force our taste levels down that low to understand it.

Since we really abhor Jersey Shore and all it stands for, we can’t help but have a giggle when one of the cast members has a ‘stupid’ moment in public. This video of Snooki stumbling around in what appears to be a drunken stupor and then crashing her ass on the floor happens to be one of our favorites.

Too bad we didn’t really get to see the look on her face after her ‘crew’ helped her back on her feet. We’re betting it was priceless.

Of course, there is another Snooki video out there that’s even better.

Personally, while we never approve of violence – especially towards women, we can kind of sympathize with the dude throwing the punch. That mouth would tempt anyone to smack it.

Nancy Kerrigan‘s 45-year-old brother, Mark Kerrigan, pled not guilty on Monday to charges he assaulted their father shortly before his death. Daniel Kerrigan died Sunday after the two allegedly fought at the family’s home on Massachusetts. Mark Kerrigan is facing a charge of assault and battery on an elder with serious bodily injury.

Daniel Kerrigan reportedly collapsed after his son allegedly choked him during an argument over using the telephone, according to police reports. The two were reportedly screaming at each other and exchanging physical blows. Police reported Mark Kerrigan appeared intoxicated when they arrived and were forced to subdue him with pepper spray.

Daniel Kerrigan was pronounced dead after being taken to a local hospital from the scene. Nancy and Mark Kerrigan’s mother told the Boston Herald her husband had “a massive heart attack.”

Just sad.

Tiger Woods‘ wife, Elin Nordegren Woods, allegedly tricked mistress Rachel Uchitel into revealing their relationship by posing as Woods on the phone. Elin Nordegren reportedly found Rachel Uchitel’s number in her husband’s phone and tricked Uchitel into a confession by sending text messages to her pretending to be Woods.

“I miss you,” Elin Nordegren allegedly texted in a message to Rachel Uchitel, using husband Tiger Woods’ phone, “When are we seeing each other again?” Uchitel reportedly texted back and Nordegren then decided to take the trap one step further by calling. Uchitel allegedly answered, thinking Tiger Woods was ringing in, and was shocked to find his wife at the other end of the line. She reportedly blurted out “Oh f–k!” and then hung up, according to Daily Beast investigative reporter Gerald Posner.

All this supposedly occurred shortly before that whole post-Thanksgiving Tiger Woods car wreck that eventually led to the media frenzy over his various ‘indiscretions’ with over a dozen alleged mistresses. (Check out a photo gallery of Tiger Woods’ alleged mistresses here.)

According to several unidentified sources reported by Posner, Elin Nordegren responded to revelation from Uchitel by waking up Tiger Woods in a rage and beating him about the face and chest. She then allegedly chased him out of the house with a golf club. Woods, meanwhile, was allegedly half-drugged on Ambien and crashed into a tree after jumping into his SUV to escape his enraged wife.

We don’t know who Gerald Posner’s sources are or if their story is legit or not. But we always did think it was pretty damn strange Elin Nordegren Woods supposedly bashed in the windows of Tiger Woods’ SUV to ‘rescue’ him after he crashed. Not to mention, it was more than weird that Woods’ wouldn’t even reveal his face to police investigators after the incident. Wonder what kind of injuries he was covering up that didn’t come from ramming his SUV into a tree?

In a press conference Monday, Haitian-born singer Wyclef Jean advocated for the relocation of 2 million Haitians who were left homeless in Port-au-Prince by the massive 7.0 earthquake in the Caribbean nation last week. Jean also denied personally profiting from his relationship with the Yele Haiti Foundation, which has raised more than $2 million in funds to help victims of the earthquake.

“Port-au-Prince is a morgue,” Wyclef Jean said in a press conference in New York on Monday. The former Fugees member called for an evacuation of the nearly 2 million people left homeless in Haiti by the earthquake, many of them still struggling to survive without adequate food, water or medical care.

Wyclef Jean also slammed back against accusations he has profited from his Yele Haiti foundation, which provides humanitarian aid in the impoverished nation. TheSmokingGun.com posted documents last week implying the foundation had given Jean nearly a half million dollars for personal expenses, such as rent, and paid him to perform at one of his own charity’s benefit concerts.

“Have we made mistakes? Yes. Did I ever use Yele money for personal benefit? Absolutely not. Yele’s books are transparent and open. We have been given a clean bill of health by an external auditor every year since we started.”

The final installment of the Twilight film series may begin shooting this fall, according to producer Wyck Godfrey. Godfrey hopes Breaking Dawn will start filming in Vancouver no later than fall of this year. Twilight stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner have already been secured for the on-screen adaption of Breaking Dawn.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Twilight producer Wyck Godfrey expects filming for Breaking Dawn to start as early as this fall – if the script is ready in time. Godfrey says part of the issue is deciding whether or not Breaking Dawn will be split into two films. “The issue is not going to be resolved until we get the full treatment and see whether it’s organic,” Godfrey said. “It really has to do with how much level of detail from the books there is… It’s a very long single movie if it does become a single movie.”

A director for Breaking Dawn has not yet been picked out yet, but Godfrey hopes they can find someone who is gifted both in directing actors and complicated visual effects. “They’ve got to have both tools in their kit,” he told the L.A. Times.

The third Twilight installment, Eclipse, is due in theaters June 30.

Twilight fans are rejoicing (or groaning) over the news the final Twilight book, Breaking Dawn, may be split into two films. The rumor isn’t new, but apparently the idea is starting to really get some steam behind it. Summit Entertainment is reportedly seriously considering splitting Breaking Dawn into two movies at this point, according to a report from Variety.

Reminiscent of the decision to split the final Harry Potter book into two films, a two-film interpretation of Breaking Dawn would allow more exploration of the complexity of the final Twilight book.

The big question is, will all the big hitters be on board with doing a fifth Twilight film? Director Chris Weitz may be the most likely to jump ship, since he’s said another Twilight PR tour would pretty much kill him. We do hope he was joking with that.

New Moon star Robert Pattinson has denied he is dating costar Kristen Stewart, but that’s not what his aunt says! Diana Nutley, Robert Pattinson’s aunt, says he has already introduced Kristen Stewart to his parents in an intimate dinner in Paris.

Nutley reportedly told OK magazine Pattinson and Stewart met up with his parents during a break from promoting New Moon in Europe last week.

This isn’t the first inside dish about Pattinson and Stewart’s rumored romance. earlier this month, Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke said Stewart and Pattinson did not hook up during the first film. By New Moon, however, Hardwicke said Stewart basically told her, “‘OK, I’ve got to give this a go and really try to be with this person.’”

Of the meeting with the parents last week, Diana Nutley said Pattinson and Stewart tried to keep things hush-hush. “[They] had to keep it secret,” Nutley said.  The gossipy aunt has previously said, in an interview with Life & Style, she doesn’t approve of a relationship between her nephew and Stewart. “How can he live his life with a fellow star, with their every move being watched just like Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes?”

Well, we’re not sure we believe Pattinson’s aunt, since she seems to delight in spilling the family business all over the press. True or not, it’s just not classy to sell out your relatives to the tabloids!
