American Idol 2013 judge Randy Jackson was not happy to hear the news L. A. Reid is leaving rival talent show The X Factor after season 2 ends. L. A. Reid announced on Thursday he would not be returning for The X Factor 2013 season 3. Randy Jackson said L. A. Reid is a “dear friend” and was sad to hear he won’t be continuing as a judge on The X Factor season 3, even if it does compete with American Idol 2013.

Touchdown Jesus statue in Monroe, Ohio (Solid Rock Church)

An enormous statue known as Touchdown Jesus burned to the ground in Monroe, Ohio Monday night after it was struck by lightning. The six-story statue, officially known as King of Kings, was built by the Solid Rock Church in 2004 and was well-known as regional landmark.

Bret Michaels’ condition is not good, Celebrity Apprentice host Donald Trump said on Monday. Michaels is still in the ICU under 24 hour surveillance after suffering a massive brain hemorrhage last week. Michaels’ reps posted an update on the singer’s website saying he was undergoing further testing and remained in critical condition.
