GossipandGab.com was created to indulge the guilty pleasure of our love of gossip, scandal, interesting news, cheesy and outrageous television shows, weird videos and the delicious buffet of strangeness that is the Internet. We hope you’ll find the site a tasty dish as well. The site is staffed by a bunch of TV and entertainment junkies who honestly just enjoy writing and are real fans of the shows they recap and the celebrities they rant about.
GossipandGab.com believes strongly in the intellectual property rights of writers, photographers and other creative types. After all, we are those creative types. If you should happen to spot anything on our site that you feel might be a copyright violation, belong to someone else or is improperly sourced or credited, please contact the editor immediately at the e-mail address below. You can be certain we’ll open a can of severe unpleasantness on any guilty party.

Ann Turner, Assistant Editor
gaminggirlnews (at) gmail.com
Ann Turner has been writing about entertainment and stupid celebrities for too many years and wonders when people will realize being famous is dangerous to your brain cells. She is also one of those rare and wonderful creatures known as a girl gamer.
Jerrica Tisdale, Featured Writer
jerricatisdale (at) gmail.com
Jerrica has been called the real life Alex Dunphy, which basically means she’s an annoying know-it-all. Her Alex Dunphy nature comes out best when she talks about all things entertainment and pop culture. She’s a pop culture encyclopedia, knowing who shot J.R and who killed Laura Palmer, even though she’s never seen either show. Even though she recently received her B.A in English , her dream is to become a vampire slayer when she grows up. Until her Watcher comes, she’s a freelance writer for a couple of blogs and hopes to write and develop her own television series one day. You can find her crazy rambles on her blog or catch her live tweeting during shows on Twitter.
Stephanie Carley, Featured Writer
stephsweetreats (at) gmail.com
Stephanie Carley graduated with a bachelor of arts in communication technologies (journalism) and a business minor from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Although she has a full time job as an assistant office manager at a manufacturing company her true passions lay behind the keyboard and kitchen. Stephanie is working hard at pursuing her dream of owning her bakery and keeps her writing passion going by freelancing for various websites. She mostly loves to write about baking and celebrities/television shows but will usually write about anything and enjoy doing it!
Tammie Slogeris, Featured Writer
tslogeris (at) gmail.com
Tammie failed English in high school countless times, including a course in creative writing, luckily for her the celebrities are creative for her. Never thought she would ever be a writer until her best friend asked her to write for her blog. She decided that writing would give her something to do in her spare time, being a stay at home mom isn’t exciting enough, I guess. When she realized that even though she may not be the best writer in the world, people still enjoy her sense of humor and her style of writing, she started a blog of her own that revolves around what she likes the most on TV: SPORTS! Who failed English and now makes a living doing freelance writing? This girl! Catch her on Twitter chatting with the reality TV stars during her recaps!
Victoria Lynn, Featured Writer
vh1mtv (at) yahoo.com
Bio: Victoria Lynn holds bachelor’s degrees in Spanish and Social Work, and a Master’s in English. She has a varied background, currently teaching English composition at her local community college and writing freelance on various sites. Her favorite writing focuses on saving money, grammar, cooking, pets, poetry, and, of course, her closet reality show obsession! You can check out more of her writing on HubPages, Wizzley, and Amazines. You can follow her, too, on Twitter and Google+.
Joy D’Angelo, Featured Writer
joy.dangelo (at) gmail.com
Joy D’Angelo attended Hofstra’s New College for undergrad – where she majored in creative studies. She then attended grad school at NYU’s Gallatin School for Individualized Studies. In other words, she’s had a kind of Steve Jobs kind of education – studying whatever struck her fancy. While her undergraduate work focused on all the arts, her graduate school studies focused on screenwriting, film production, and cinema-studies. She’s worked in various areas of the film and music industries – but actually really prefers watching TV.
Contributing Writers: Alison Carley, Ashley Hudson, Debra Paplin, Ellen Burke, Marty Shaw, Meghan Williams, and Ryan Khosravi.

We are currently not hiring any additional paid staff writers at this time. If we have any paid freelancing opportunities, you can find them on our Write for Us page. Or, you may pitch us with your story or column idea and we’ll see if it might be a good fit for our site. Please don’t bother pitching if you’ve never written anything but a term paper on cell mutation or sentimental ramblings in your journal before. We may play it a bit fast and loose on GossipandGab.com, but some passing knowledge of the ins and outs of the English language and a familiarity with blogging about entertainment is preferred. Pitches and story ideas can be sent to editor (at) gossipandgab.com. Please do not bug the Editor-in-Chief with pitches as he can be quite grumpy before coffee.
