Big Ang shot to fame back in 2012 after being cast on the second season of Mob Wives. She became an instant hit and fans were loving her. Back in March 2015, Big Ang was diagnosed with throat cancer that later spread to her brain and lungs.
She recently appeared on an episode of the Dr. Oz show and talked about her battle with cancer, in which she said: “I look at my kids and my grandchildren and I know how much they need me.” Big Ang also confirmed that she had been declared cancer-free twice, but only to have it return and spread to other areas of her body. She added, “Sometimes I feel I’m gonna be fine, and sometimes I just don’t think I am.”
Our thoughts go out to her family and friends at this sad time!
