Joe Namath’s Daughter Olivia Namath Arrested for Pot Possession

Olivia Namath, daughter of legendary NFL quarterback Joe Namath, was arrested on Monday and booked on charges of possession of marijuana with the intent to sell. Olivia Namath, 19, was arrested near Jupiter, FL after she was pulled over for speeding by a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Deputy.

According to the police report, Olivia Namath was pulled over by the officer for speeding in a silver Mercedes. The officer reported a strong smell of marijuana inside the vehicle while he was asking Namath for her identification.

Olivia Namath and two passengers were told to exit the vehicle and the officer on scene performed a search of the car. The deputy reportedly found a number of small bags of marijuana in the driver’s floor board and in the trunk. The vehicle also contained an open bottle of rum and nearly a dozen cans of beer.

Namath reportedly told the arresting officer she did not know anything about the pot in the car, but refused to answer further questions on scene. She was arrested and booked for possession of marijuana, possession of alcohol by a minor and possession of marijuana with intent to sell. Namath was later released on $3,000 bond.

We’re thinking daddy Joe Namath is going to be pretty pissed. Of course, considering he’s had quite a few bouts of public drunkenness in his day, you can’t really blame his daughter for following in his footsteps…
