Respectful? There are surely several hundred thousand dead in Iraq alone, and millions sure to be starved. I disagree with the heckler’s assessment, but unlike some, even some in the media, I don’t wish for him to be arrested.

He did absolutely nothing illegal …no vrbal threats, no overt move to physical violence.

In this nation, you can still (supposedly) express your opinion, no matter how vile or misguided, without breaking the law.

And the ONLY time someone should be arrested, or even detained, by anyone with a Law Enforcement function, should be when they have broken a law, or are reasonably suspected of breaking one.

I would, on the other hand, love to see GB (elder) sue this moron for defamation of character/slander ….for unless your accuser can PROVE their accusations, once stated publicly, they expose themselves to such a litigation, and in this instance, the heckler would likely lose.

A 15 Grand wakeup call might instill in him a little restraint, if not cicility/

What an absolutely misguided, crass, disgusting act! You didn’t ‘educate” anyone, all you did was demonstrate that you are a petty, foul-mouthed ignoramous without any real understanding of history, and completly devoid of common sense.

You had an opportunity to meet a former president and possibly even ask him a couple of respectful questions on tape, to which you could have responded later with an intelligent and well-thought out analysis, and THAT would have been interesting and worthwhile.
