Gary Coleman Penis Flash Spurs Midgets vs. Mascots Movie War

Before his hospitalization last week, Gary Coleman was reportedly battling with producers of the upcoming Midgets vs. Mascots movie over a scene featuring the actor’s penis on display. Now former NBA All-Star Scottie Pippen has piped up regarding a scene he’s not happy with in the film featuring him getting attacked by ‘Little People’.

Former NBA star Scottie Pippen issued a press statement Friday saying he wanted to “clear up any misunderstandings” regarding a particular scene in Midgets vs. Mascots (formerly titled A Tribute to Big Red).

“Given the recent controversy surrounding Gary Coleman, the fact that I’ve been repeatedly asked questions about my small part in the movie Midgets vs. Mascots, and a related video posted online which shows me being assaulted by a group of Little People, I want to clear up any misunderstandings.

“My role was scripted, and the first two scenes went off without any problems,” Pippen said. “During the third scene, I was told that four Little People, along with actor Gary Coleman, were going to become angry with something I said and storm off as the scene ends. Instead, they basically attacked me, with Gary Coleman apparently climbing on a chair behind me to hit me over the head with a phone (twice).”

“A short fight ensued before I heard the film’s director yell ‘cut.’ As I recall, some of the Little People were laughing as the director explained that the scene was ‘sort of like an episode of the TV show Punk’d.’ At that point, I left quickly without a clear understanding of what was going on.”

One of the other actors in the scene reportedly said he was injured during the mock fight. Pippen stated if there was an injury on set, he does not believe he was involved in causing it.

“As for the Little Person who claims he was injured in the attack, I really don’t think I caused the injury or can be held to blame,” Pippen said. “To the best of my knowledge, there is no action being taken against me, nor am I pursuing any action. For the record, I have never seen the movie and, in hindsight, wish I’d not been involved with it. I simply wanted to make clear my role and position as I understand the movie is coming out soon. I will not be answering any further questions regarding the film.”

Emily Stephens, who told us she is acting as Gary Coleman’s representative in Los Angeles, hopes this new bit of information will help Coleman in his battle against the film’s producers. “Hopefully this will help Gary’s case when he sues to get his penis scene taken out,” Stephens said.

As for Coleman, he told EOnline.com that he wants “all my fans to protest my penis being in the movie, because I didn’t want that.” Coleman also says he believes the actual nude flash is of a body double and he “heard that the body double is ugly, and is unattractive, and does not make me look good.” The film’s producers insist they are including the footage, whether Coleman or Pippen or anyone else doesn’t like it.

All we can say is that all this seems to be a big bunch of drama over a rather little film.

And we apologize for the very terrible pun, sort of. (Flame away!)
