This week on Mob Wives, we had a pretty tame series of events! After all of drama build-up from the previous episodes, VH1 decided to give us a fairly calm episode this go-round. This week we see the women deal with their personal issues, as well as a celebration of one of the Mob Wives. Will the chill factor last? Guess we’ll see!
You’ll be kicking yourself if you forgot to check out last week’s recap before this one! Mob Wives 2016 Recap: S6 E3 – Hamptons Hangover.
The Mob Wives episode started off with Drita D’Avanzo and Big Ang meeting up. Big Ang told Drita about the girls talking about her and how Carla Facciolo is mad at her about her telling everyone about her boyfriend that beat her up(if you don’t know what I’m talking about, check out last week’s recap). Drita said she told Big Ang because she’s close to her, but if Carla would have needed her, she would have gone out there and fought ‘ole dude in her honor.
Later Drita goes to meet up with a lady who is going to help her with her book. She was telling her story, which shocked the girl and made her even more eager to work with Drita. What’s Lee D’Avanzo gonna say?
As she’s doing that, Big Ang meets up with Carla and two of her friends – Edie and Kim. They had a nice walk down memory lane, until they start talking about Drita.
Then we see Big Ang talking to Neal. Since The Drunken Monkey is shut down, their income has obviously gone down as well. She feels like Neal needs to step up and do more since she now has to regroup and figure out something else. So in order to relieve some stress, she decides that she wants to have a party at her sister’s house for her 55th birthday. Of course she invites all of the Mob Wives.
Next up is Renee Graziano working in her garden to relieve stress. As she’s working, Karen Gravano comes over to talk to her about the party. Renee said she isn’t really in the mood to see Drita, but they’ll go. Then Karen starts talking about the situation with her and Storm and how he walked out on her during the argument on the first or second episode. She said that when she goes out with her friends, he leaves her all kinds of voice messages and texts asking where she is, how he broke her phone, and so on and so forth. Renee told her that she needs to walk away from it right now, because it’s toxic.
Later we catch Karen talking to Brittany Fogherty. Karen told her about some program for people who aren’t that bad where they can be eligible to get out early, and Karen’s dad is a candidate. Then she said that John Gotti’s mom was saying stuff about her father, but she’s not going to let them get her down and run her out of town – her father did that, not her.
Then we see Big Ang’s party. Everyone was good, but waiting to see Drita come in. Big Ang spoke, and Drita showed up and spoke to Karen and Renee, which was strange. Marissa Jade showed up after her and decided to approach Drita about her allegedly snubbing her. Drita explained that she didn’t do it intentionally and that she’s cool with Marissa’s boyfriend. Marissa wasn’t really feeling that explanation, but she just said okay and kept it pushing anyway. After that was over, Karen and Renee and some of the other girls were just sitting around talking when out of the blue someone yells, “Your father’s a rat!” When Karen hears that she jumps up and goes to confront the dude, who starts punking out. Then the dude is like, “Who said I was talking about your father?” And that’s when Brittany jumped up! Before a fight broke out, Big Ang asked the guy to leave – good move!
Later on into the party, Marissa notices that Brittany was hanging out with Drita a lot, even though she was talking mess about her in The Hamptons. Marissa still doesn’t really trust Drita.
The next day, Storm and Karen meet up. Karen tells him that he needs to come get his stuff because it isn’t working she already has enough going on with her dad. That’s when Storm twists it around and says some junk about her giving negative energy and blah blah. Basically, they decided to try and work things out. *Eye roll*
At the end of the episode, Big Ang encourages everyone to get together to talk everything out. So the girls head over to meet in this huge warehouse for some reason. We’ll see the rest of that next week!
