The Walking Dead threw a bombshell on us on season six, episode three, and if you haven’t reached that far, I strongly suggest you wouldn’t read this, because it contains spoilers up to the show’s midseason finale. Now Steven Yeun opens up about Glenn’s fate, and his friends’ reaction.
After Glenn supposedly died in episode three, Steven has kept his silence about all the questions and reactions from the Internet, and finally spoke after the show’s midseason finale.
“I’ve been following everything you’ve been saying and it’s meant so much to me to see all of your support and concern for Glenn. The Walking Dead has the best fans in the world and I’m happy to be back.”
And also discussed his life after Glenn’s death:
“I have not been out much. I frequent a lot of take-out. My apartment looks like a hoarder’s house.”
On not saying anything to his family and friends:
“I feel relieved. I feel very grateful. I feel so amazed at the response. I feel bad that I couldn’t say anything to everyone and family and friends. I’m pretty sure I’ve lost friendships along the way. But yeah, it’s kind of been overwhelming. I didn’t even really know how to take it all.”
“I think it proves that this world still can take that story of the good guy winning sometimes. I really like the fact that it’s not this bent of always seeking out something miserable happening on television or something terrible and sulking on that and rather just really accepting the fact that sometimes good guys survive.”
On his fans’ reaction:

“You realize in that moment that you have affected a lot of people at once and that’s something that you don’t really see that often anymore. And especially with what’s going on in the world now it’s nice to have some connection.”
