Adam Lambert Would Like a Song on ‘Twilight: Eclipse’
Glam rocker Adam Lambert would be more than happy to lend a song to the upcoming soundtrack of Twilight: Eclipse. In an interview with MTV News, the Glambert said he has the perfect track for the third installment of the vampire film series.
American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert told MTV News he has an unreleased track called “Suburban Decay” he thinks would fit in nicely on the Eclipse soundtrack. “It’s a great song and I hope to perform it someday, and I think it will find a home, on a soundtrack or something… maybe Twilight.”
Lambert said the song “just didn’t quite fit [on my album]. It’s very theatrical… It’s very campy, and it was just too campy for the album as a big picture.” The Glambert, however, doesn’t think it would be too campy for the next Twilight film. “Hey, Eclipse… want my song? It’s kind of about vampires,” Lambert said.
We loved Lambert’s contribution to the 2012 soundtrack, so we’re putting in our vote to hear some Lambert on Eclipse!

What would be great is if they ask him to write a song with Justin Hawkins and have Rob Cavallo produce it for the soundtrack. I could see Adam doing a song for the soundtrack and he wouldn’t take anything away from Twilight he would add to it. The first Twilight Soundtrack only had 3 songs on it I liked. Linkin Parks, Muse and Paramores. The rest weren’t so great.
I want to hear anything that Adam has recorded! Hope we can hear Surburban Decay soon. It was mentioned many weeks ago but didn’t appear on the album so am very excited to hear it. Adam is THE BEST!
