Ex-Presidential Daughter Jenna Bush Joins Today Show
NBC’s Today show has hired ex-presidential daughter Jenna Bush as a part-time correspondent. The daughter of former President George W. Bush impressed the show’s executive producer Jim Bell with guest appearances on Today, leading him to offer her a regular gig.

“In previous appearances, she displayed a natural ability to communicate and connect,” Jim Bell, the show’s executive producer, said in a press statement. “She has great passion about important subjects, especially education and literacy.”
Jenna Bush has appeared several times on Today to promote her book, Ana’s Story: A Journey of Hope, about a 17-year-old girl born with HIV. Bush says she will still continue to work as a teacher in Baltimore while reporting forĀ Today.
In addition to Ana’s Story, Jenna Bush also authored the children’s book Read All About It!, co-written with her mom, former first lady Laura Bush.
