Katt Williams Arrested in Home Burglary Bust

This is just sad. Comedian Katt Williams was arrested Sunday on burglary and trespassing charges after allegedly breaking into a home near Atlanta, GA. Williams has previously been arrested on gun charges and was briefly hospitalized in a psych ward last November.

Somebody out there obviously needs to get Katt Williams some help. The obviously talented comedian has been spiraling out of control over the last few years. Williams was admitted to a psych ward just last year after a string of strange incidents, including an arrest on gun charges in New York City last year. He also missed some big gigs with little explanation, like his hosting duties at the 2008 BET Hip-Hop Awards.

Before he was admitted to the hospital for evaluation, Williams reportedly attempted to book a hotel room in South Carolina wearing a bathrobe, with a towel wrapped around his head. Friends and family reported Williams was acting “troubled” and “disoriented” at the time.

In the latest incident, Katt Williams was arrested after allegedly breaking into a home in Georgia and attempting to steal jewelry and other items. Williams was taken to the Coweta County Jail and is being held waiting arraignment on Monday afternoon. He is expected to be released on bail.

We hope this latest incident will prompt Williams to get some serious help before he ends up in even bigger trouble… or worse.
