New X Factor 2012 judge Britney Spears is the star of FOX’s latest promo video for the upcoming season of the hit reality show. In the promo video clip, Britney Spears shows off what she calls her “subtle” judging style, but we hear she isn’t afraid to be harsh when she thinks a contestant deserves it.
In a new promo video for FOX, The X Factor 2012 judge/mentor Britney Spears says she is “so excited” to be on the show. “I’ve never done anything like this before,” Spears said. “It’s really kind of hard to tell some people ‘no.’ It’s a great process to be a part of, to help people create their dreams.”
Although Spears says her judging style on The X Factor 2012 is more “subtle” and about “constructive criticism,” she doesn’t hesitate to speak her mind when she thinks a contestant does not have the chops. She tells one singer after their audition in the promo video: “I wanna know who let you on stage.”
In a previous clip of The X Factor 2012 judge Britney Spears in action, the pop star told one contestant they were “predictable” and another that they “definitely don’t have the ‘X Factor’.” She also allegedly walked out on several auditions after becoming disgusted with the performances.
The new season of The X Factor USA 2012 will premiere on September 12-13 on FOX. In addition to Britney Spears, the show will also feature L. A. Reid, Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas and Justin Bieber as judges and mentors. Kelly Osbourne and Glee‘s Kevin McHale have been reportedly tapped to host the live shows, although this has not yet been confirmed.
