Heroes Loses One of Their Own for Good

Fans of Heroes will be sad to learn the creators of the superhero series will be killing off one of the stars of the show for good by the end of the season. Rumors of a major character death have been swirling around for about a month, but now it looks like the news is official.
Who will be taking their final bow this season on Heroes? Not too surprisingly, it’s the character who has already been killed off once – Nathan Petrelli.
Petrelli met his end last season at the hands of evil serial killer Sylar, but his “body” was revived when the villain was forced to take on Nathan’s form and personality. Now it seems Adrian Pasdar, who played Nathan Petrelli and Sylar’s body double of him, exiting the series forever.
The saddest part? Adrian Pasdar allegedly learned he was being fired from the show while he was reading the script for his final episode. We’re not sure if we believe the Heroes powers-that-be would actually be that cruel, but it wouldn’t be the first time an actor learned of his character’s death from a script – or via a tabloid gossip site.
As blogger Jessica notes over at SmallScreenScoop.com, where we learned the news, Adrian Pasdar was a much beloved member of the cast by fans and co-workers alike. Even though Nathan Petrelli technically met his end last season, it’s still a serious downer to watch Adrian Pasdar leaving the show for good.
