Nicolas Cage Sues Business Manager Over Financial Ruin

Oscar-winning actor Nicolas Cage is suing his former business manager, Samuel Levin, for leading him into “financial ruin” through bad investments and mismanagement of his assets. Cage can’t seriously be labeled as ‘broke’, since he reportedly has a net worth of $38 million, but he is apparently  in the midst of a serious financial crisis.

According to the lawsuit filed by Nicolas Cage against his former business manager, the actor has suffered “catastrophic losses” due to Samuel Levin’s alleged mismanagement of his money. As a result of Levin’s alleged actions, Cage now reportedly owes millions to the IRS in back taxes and millions more in unpaid mortgage payments.

Cage is reportedly trying to sell off a handful of high-priced homes and other assets to recoup some of his losses and pay off debts. In the lawsuit against Levin, Cage is seeking at least $20 million in damages. Levin worked as Cage’s business manager from 2001 to 2008.
