Who is excited for the return of So You Think You Can Dance 2012 tonight??? Just me? Well, I think there are a few more of you out there that want So You Think You Can Dance Season 9 to come back and you should tell me in the comments! My favorite summer show left us for two weeks for the London Olympics 2012 and returns tonight with the Top 14 dancers taking the stage to win the votes from America!
During the Top 16 performances of the SYTYCD 2012 dancers, we saw some stellar routines and so far this season I have not been able to come close on who I think will leave us each week. There have been some shockers, but such is life on this show. Dancing is a hard business and winning this show is even harder. Before we find out what two dancers will leave us on So You Think You Can Dance 2012, we first get a chance to see the Top 14 perform together.
Tonight is going to be a special night…not only is it the return of SYTYCD Season 9, but it is also a night dedicated to my girl: Mia Michaels! She has won Emmys for her choreography on this show and now they will pay homage to her, as the Top 14 take on dances she has worked on on previous shows, which means in one simple word: AMAZING! Not only do I love her routines, but now I get to see a full two hours of just her routines. Watch out America, it is going to be a full two hours of me screaming tonight…put in your ear plugs!
