Only two more episode of True Blood season 5 left before the finale. As last week’s episode of True Blood season 5 showed a lot of the storylines are reaching their conclusion. On the last episode of True Blood season 5 it was revealed who was behind the supernatural killings. And the extremely unpopular Terry, Patrick, and fire demon storyline came to an anticlimactic conclusion on True Blood season 5. So what conflicts are yet to be resolved?

After Sookie was kidnapped by former sheriff , Bud Dearborne, she found Hoyt beaten and almost becoming pig meat. Though, Hoyt survived the kidnapping it looks like on this week’s episode of True Blood season 5, the Hoyt, Jessica, and Jason triangle reaches its conclusion. This triangle wasn’t explored this season as much as it was last season. It, however, did grow to a more a complicated story of redemption and forgiveness. When Hoyt saved Jessica’s life, they received a little closure, but he didn’t necessarily forgive her for breaking his heart. Jason and Hoyt haven’t really spoken since Jason made failed attempts at reconciliation. Jessica and Jason also have been constantly struggling to become friends as he has now grown to detest vampires for his parent’s death.
On this clip from tomorrow’s episode of True Blood season 5, it appears Jason and Jessica have an awkward, but civil, encounter. They both claim to be meeting someone. Then it’s revealed to be Hoyt. Hoyt could finally be offering the forgiveness his ex-girlfriend and ex-best friend so desperately crave. He could, also, be inviting them to declare his complete hatred forthem and blaming them for his near death experience. Logically, it should be the first thing, but this True Blood season has been going against logic, so we’ll see if Hoyt forgives or keeps his grudge.
Sookie has remained the majority of True Blood season 5 without getting involved in any major relationship. Sookie has instead been very Nancy Drew like and trying to solve several mysteries. The one she’s currently involved in is figuring out who is the vampire that killed her parents. After last week’s episode of True Blood season 5, she should have learned to not trust the townsfolks of Bon Temps.
The clip shows Sookie has not learned her lesson and let a familiar face into her home, probably to only face more danger. When will Sookie learn?
One of the biggest storylines-that will be hard to wrap up in three episodes-is the vampire revolt and the power of Lilth. The vampire authority are slowly causing havoc. One way was by having a new sheriff take over Pam’s club. This may result in Pam and Tara having to leave as the trailer for this week’s episode of True Blood suggests.
On tomorrow’s episode we may learn where Bill’s allegiance really lies as he’s about to give Eric the true death. Bill really is loving the Lilth kool-aid, but the weird sex with Salome may have woken him up to what Lilth’s real intentions may be for the vampires and humans or if she’s even real.
As Emma was taken by crazy Russell and Rev. Steve, it looks like Sam and Luna will get dragged into the vampire authority drama. Could they help Eric escape and maybe waken Bill up to his crazy ways? or is Bill even under the influence as much as it seems?
Sam seems to be the voice of reason in so many situations, maybe once again, he’ll unexpectedly save the day, or he could just become another complication in an already complicated plan.
So what storyline do you hope concludes tomorrow on True Blood season 5? And am I the only one wondering why Luna is still alive?
