Robert Pattinson Denies Dating Kristen Stewart in Vanity Fair Interview
In an interview with Vanity Fair for the mag’s December issue, Twilight leading man Robert Pattinson denies he is dating New Moon co-star Kristen Stewart – no matter what the tabloids say.
Kristen Stewart has been romantically linked in the tabloids to both Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, her Twilight co-stars. Some of the rumors out there have been truly out of this world and we’ve laughed at most of them. So, apparently, have Stewart and Pattinson. In the Vanity Fair interview, Pattinson declares the two are just “good friends” and lightly mocks the tabloids for printing crazy rumors about them.

Why is it that the media (and much of the public) seem so determined to make Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart into a couple? It’s all about the magic baby. Watching Edward and Bella moon over each other in the Twilight films would just have an extra level of delicious realism if they were lusting over each other in real life too. A kiss on screen is just a stage kiss between friends, but between secret lovers, it’s so much more intoxicating!
Alas, we think Stewart and Pattinson are probably telling the truth when they say there is nothing to the rumors. Although we wouldn’t be surprised if they hadn’t made out a few times at least off screen. They are both young, hot and raging with hormones – so why not?
