It has been announced that Sharon Osbourne will not be returning as a judge for America’s Got Talent next season. Rumors have gone around on why she is not returning, including fellow judge Howard Stern saying it was because of money. Sharon Osbourne has announced the reason she won’t be returning to America’s Got Talent 2012.
In a story in the New York Post, Sharon Osbourne has revealed the reason for her departure from America’s Got Talent 2012. It isn’t money, it is because of her son that she won’t be returning to AGT next year. Osbourne claims that NBC cut ties with her son, Jack Osbourne, after he announced that he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. He was set to appear on NBC’s new reality show called Stars Earn Stripes, which will put celebrities competing against each other in military training exercises.
There was no contract signed between NBC and Jack Osbourne, but both parties were excited to have him on Stars Earn Stripes. In an email to Jack Osbourne, NBC said: ”We are looking forward to working with you. I am happy you are going to be in the NBC family.” Now NBC is claiming he was never hired and claim he was somebody NBC was in talks with. Sharon Osbourne shared with the New York Post an email she received from NBC which stated, “We cannot move forward with Jack’s participation.”
So, it isn’t over money. It is because of the treatment of her son that is forcing Sharon Osbourne to leave America’s Got Talent 2012. Osbourne said, “I just can’t be fake. It’s discrimination, and it was badly handled.” Do you agree with her? Will you miss her as a judge on America’s Got Talent 2012? Tell me in the comments!

Kudos to Sharon for standing up for her son and THUMBS DOWN to NBC.
It’s sad, but I think NBC had liability issues allowing Jack Osbourne to participate in such a rigorous competition.
