Big Brother Canada Auditions Open Today – Apply Now!

To all of our Canadian friends out there that have wanted to be on Big Brother 14, but haven’t had the chance…wait no longer! Casting for Big Brother Canada has officially opened, so don’t miss out on your opportunity to play the game for your chance at some big bucks! You can fill out your application online or go to one of the open casting calls nationwide for Big Brother Canada.

Big Brother Canada auditions applications are available as of today, August 1st, and to be eligible, applicants must be 19 years old and must be legal Canadian citizens. Shaw Media and Insight Productions released a statement on what type of cast they are looking for for Big Brother Canada:

“Big Brother Canada is in search of extroverts, conformists, risk takers, adventurers, romantics, leaders, plotters and planners, and those who don’t mind a little healthy competition. If you’re ready to strategize with fellow Canadians living in a house packed with cameras watching your every move, Big Brother Canada wants to hear from you.”

Of course, like any other reality TV show, the producers of Big Brother Canada are asking you to create a short video audition tape. This is the key to getting you on the show. You want to be on Big Brother Canada? Well, show the producers why you are unique, fun, interesting and why you would make a great addition to the house! The Big Brother Canada auditions sheet gives you some tips on making your video:

1. Find a quiet place to film – there is no point in selling yourself to the camera if we can’t hear what you are selling.
2. Remember this tape may end up on TV or the internet for a looong time, so try to shoot landscape and make sure you’re happy with the final cut.
3. Shoot during the day with lights facing you – we want to see your face clearly.

Head shots are also needed with the online application or make sure to bring one with you to the open casting call for Big Brother Canada! Online applications will be accepted now until October 16, 2012 and can be found at www.bigbrothercanada.ca. The current schedule for Big Brother Canada auditions open casting calls are:

• Vancouver – September 23
• Calgary – September 30
• Halifax – October 7
• Montreal – October 7
• Toronto – October 14
