In last week’s Dallas 2012 TV show recap, John Ross was beaten while he was in jail for the murder of Marta Del Sol. The beating was done by Vicente Cano’s crew due to the oil he owed Cano. Evidence was found proving his innocence and now that is released , John Ross and Christopher seem to be mending their relationship and putting aside their past. But will it last? It seemed like Christopher would never forgive his wife Rebecca Sutter for the secrets she kept from him. But on last week’s Dallas TV Show, Christopher said they could work on their relationship as long as Rebecca was no longer hiding anything from him. Rebecca vowed that she wasn’t, but the end of last week’s Dallas on TNT episode revealed that Rebecca and Tommy are not really siblings; they appear to have had some sort of intimate relationship. None of which Christopher knows.
The mystery surrounding Rebecca is slowly unveiling on Dallas 2012, but the mystery of Annie was put on hold last week. There was no further information given about the mysterious necklace and files that were given to her current husband Bobby Ewing by her ex-husband Harris Ryland.
On the new Dallas, Rebecca’s so called brother Tommy threatened to put an end to her happy fairytale life she is trying to regain with Christopher. Tommy promised the methane extraction plans to ‘Smiling’ Frank but has yet to get them. Frank gave him one day to get the plans. Rebecca was tempted to steal Christopher’s key card so Tommy could get the plans, but instead she retrieved a gun from her safety deposit box. Later, when Tommy confronted her and it got physical, a shot was fired but it wasn’t revealed who the bullet hit.
When Elena Ramos ran into a problem drilling on the Henderson land, she and John Ross discovered that they could drill horizontally from the Henderson land and get to the oil on Southfork. They two went to Bobby with the idea because John Ross wanted to get Christopher’s gas right’s back from the Venezuelans by paying them in oil. This new plan wouldn’t violate Bobby’s wishes to have no drilling on Southfork, but Christopher was not happy about John Ross stepping in after he agreed to pay the debt himself. While John Ross, Christopher, Bobby, and Elena were arguing about whether or not to allow the extraction of the oil Bobby had a cerebral aneurism.
After visiting Bobby in the hospital Elena told John Ross that Bobby has cancer. John Ross was very upset that nobody told him. He wasn’t informed because the family thought he and JR would use it against Bobby to get Southfork. John Ross insisted that JR be found and brought home.
While Bobby was on bed-rest he told Christopher all he wants is peace within his family, but he knows it is something he will never have. In an effort to give his father some peace of mind Christopher told John Ross he can do the slant drilling if he can get JR to sell the deed back to Bobby. Even though John Ross knows that it will be almost impossible to get JR to give up Southfork, Christopher may have struck a chord with him when he reminded him that Bobby was there for him is whole life when JR wasn’t.
John Ross tried to talk some sense into his father but he was still stuck on Southfork being his birthright. John Ross always wanted to be just like JR but in this week’s Dallas TV show he realized he doesn’t want to be like him because JR is selfish and always will be. When John Ross’s mother Sue Ellen showed up, she confronted JR about destroying everybody, including John Ross. After all the emotional confrontations, JR signed the Southfork deed over to Bobby.
This week’s Dallas TV Show recap is full of emotions and surprises. John Ross and Christopher realized that they were just carrying on family tradition by fighting so they decided to stop the cycle and partner up. They formed Ewing Energies and will be business partners, along with Elena. Christopher said his methane hydrate plans are going to take time so they will use oil to get money to build the infrastructure for the methane hydrates extraction.
Just when you thought the drama couldn’t possibly get any more intense, the Dallas TV Show ended with Bobby’s aneurism bursting.
