*****************************

Last week on Bachelor Pad 2012, The Bachelor and The Bachelorette former cast members joined together to vote out ‘newbie’ super fans Chris ‘SWAT’ Bain and Paige Vigil. The culprit behind the house split between the super fans and The Bachelor and The Bachelorette alumni was super fan player David Mallet. He decided to publicly announce he was going to vote against Erica Rose because the house was basically lined up to be veteran versus newbie. By saying this, he pretty much guaranteed that the split between The Bachelor and The Bachelorette former cast members and the super fans would happen just like he was predicting. So when it came down to the vote, two of the super fans ended up getting chopped.

On Bachelor Pad 2012 Monday night, the remaining super fans will do their best to stay alive in the game as the Bachelor Pad 3 cast competes in an Olympic-themed ‘rhythmic gymnastics’ contest. The winner will get the chance to choose who to take with him on a 3-to-1 date, and we hear from our Bachelor Pad 2012 spoilers that two of the cast members will find themselves feeling ‘sparks’ during the date. There is also supposed to be a “shocking decision” in the wee hours of the morning during tonight’s show. We can’t wait to find out what that’s all about!

We continue with the Bachelor Pad 2012 recap. We all know that lines were drawn on Bachelor Pad season 3 when two super fans were sent home last week. Erica Rose’s plan is to make super fan David’s life hell. The newbies aren’t doing too well, and Bachelor Pad 2012 opens tonight with the twins arguing about petty stuff, while the alumni look on. Blakely isn’t off when she says watching them is like watching Jerry Springer. They make up as quickly as they started fighting. Oh, twins, that definitely didn’t win you any points.

In honor of the summer Olympics, Bachelor Pad 3 puts on a challenge in rhythm gymnastics. Contestants, split into a guys’ group and a girls’ group—have two hours to learn their routines. Both teams are forced to put on tight little spandex leotards—yes, the guys, too!

So, who are the judges? Olympic medalist Tasha is joined by former Bachelorette Ashley and her fiancée J.P. Since the girls were graceless klutzes with the pink swirly ribbons, the guys were feeling pretty good about their chances. The guys showed pizazz, fun, and even some grace. Even Olympic champ Tasha was impressed.

The results? Worst performances go to Erika Rose, as she herself expected, along with Ed for the guys. That means one vote against them going into the rose ceremony. Blakely is chosen as the best girl, and the guy Tasha says stood out: Michael. Both get roses and are exempt from elimination. Chris is disappointed, as he didn’t want to stay partners with Blakely (translation: has to stay on her good side).

Super fan Donna is obsessed with Michael, hoping desperately that he will pick her for a date. She is used to guys just falling all over her, she tells us. Chomping on a banana, she says, “Oh, my God! I love him!” Really, Donna, really? Meanwhile, Erica Rose is trying to get Michael to ask her out to give her a rose so he can save her. Michael doesn’t do that, because he wants a love connection—and it’s not Erica. Michael chooses super fan Donna, along with Rachel and Lindzi.

The date starts out with a rock concert. Bachelorette wannabe, Donna, feels she is in a dream, especially when she gets to dance with Michael—until Rachel cuts in. Her eyes draw him in for a kiss—and a spark that they didn’t see coming. Donna looks on, disgusted. Yeah, they do go on for a while. Stop already!

Meanwhile, back at the house, super fan Ryan makes a cake for Jamie and puts a note in licorice and marshmallows on her bed to say “Happy birthday.” Plus a balloon, flowers, and sushi! Guess I haven’t caught this secret crush yet! No chance, though, as Jamie is into Chris. Ryan lets a confused Jamie know that Chris plans to remain partners with Blakely.

Back at the date, Michael takes each of the girls to talk. He and Rachel talk—and kiss—for hours. When Donna finally gets her chance, she gives him a drawing she did of him. Michael tells the camera he wants to help fulfill her fantasy, so they make out. So are his feelings NOT real for her again? They do seem to have some chemistry… but the rose goes to Rachel. Donna is crestfallen.

So, at the mansion, Chris explains to Jamie that he’s in it with Blakely just for the partnership, not for the romance. Chris is playing the game, asking Jamie for a kiss. She plays hard-to-get but finally gives in to Chris’s manipulation. Chris, you bad boy! He admits he doesn’t normally sweet talk a girl if he’s not into her. So later he also plays the game with Blakely, saying that he played Jamie to get her on his side, too. Chris is okay with selling himself out some for $250,000. So, while making out on the bottom bunk of Blakely and Jamie’s bed, Jamie walks in to see them together.

Jamie is in tears and crushed. Bad move, Chris! Could you have not gone somewhere else? Jamie DOES sleep on the top bunk, for goodness sake, and she thought you were going to spend the night with her, not her bunk mate! Come to find out, that was Chris and Blakely’s first kiss. Jamie, in the meantime, is wondering if Chris is really into her or not.

Now it’s Blakely’s turn to choose for her date. She chooses Chris (of course), Ed, and super fan Dave. Why? Just to show Chris that she CAN? David’s eyes tears up, as do Blakely’s. So they move on to the date to make their own race cars. Chris names his car “Bliss” for Blakely and Chris with 250 K painted on. Ed’s car is a pickle with “in a pickle” painted on since he already has a vote against him. David paints his car like a rose. Ed wins the race, but who will get the rose?

David appeals to Blakely’s emotional side. Chris then assures her that he is totally into it, but I’m not sure he’s fooling Blakely. We think that David is going to get the rose, but Chris is shocked when he gets it and is safe from elimination.

A wild party now back at the bachelor pad! People are kissing and swimming—and drinking, of course. Ed is wasted again, drinking out of his huge trophy cup. Sarah is worried she’ll be the only one alone, so she somehow gets Ed into bed. The rest of the house hears silly screaming and wonder what’s going on.

One surprise—sweet Lindzi likes the arrogant Kalon. Then there are the twins, who are so proud that they haven’t fought in 24 hours. Then, suddenly, they do escalate into an argument and wake up the whole house. Oh, the drama at the Bachelor Pad 2012. After seven hours of whiney arguing, twin Brittany wants to go home, but Erica wants to stay because she has a crush on David. Brittany wins, and the two leave. David doesn’t seem too crushed by Erica’s departure. The twins leave, yelling, saying that they are “like totally done” with each other. The residents of Bachelor Pad 3 can finally sleep.

The morning is quiet without the twins. David is devastated as he doesn’t remember that Erica told him goodbye. Plus, he fears he will be voted off the Bachelor Pad 2012. With the twins leaving, host Chris Harrison announces that all the ladies are safe! Although everyone feels that David will go home, Kalon wants it to be Ryan. He plants the seed with Lindzi, who talks with the girls. Reid has another plan to vote off Ed, though, as he sees Ed and Chris trying to control the game. Even his hookup with Sarah doesn’t matter, as she tells him that she voted for him. Why would she do that before the votes were even counted? Sarah is upset with herself and in tears for what she has done, as she really cares about Ed.

The gymnastic Blakely gives out the roses to the men. It is no surprise that Kalon, Reid, Tony, and Nick are chosen, but who is next? David is given a rose, with the last one going to Ed. Sarah is relieved as Ryan is sent home. He is hurt that Jamie stabbed him in the back.

Oh, the drama of Bachelor Pad Season 3! Stay tuned as sparks fly next week on Bachelor Pad 2012.

Comments

  1. I am getting rather tired of the treatment and how they are talking about the fans. Especially Erica (I hate her). Hum, Were they not all fans at one time or another??? Just because they have shown their faces on reality tv before gives them some kind of celebrity status???? I think not!!! She needs to shut her ugly trap. SHE NEEDS TO GO HOME NEXT!!!!!

  2. Tim Sanchez says:

There’s so much drama on the Bachelor Pad, and we’re only a few episodes into the season! I am not too surprised that Ryan was sent home, but I was a bit shocked that the twins couldn’t stand each other for less than two episodes.

  3. What was the name of the band in this episode ?? Thanks

  4. I think they should have voted Ed off. He is nothing but a drunk and acts like an idiot. He was a d__k with his treatment of Jillian and was just playing her and I think she picked the wrong guy .I love Reid!!!!. He is truely the sweetest guy in there and I hope he finds love, but not necessarily with any of those girls on the show. Most of them are not worthy of him. He needs a sweet girl, not the conniving ones in there. I also use to love Lindsey but she is hooking up with Keylin and he is truely the worse guy in the house. Didn’t she watch the shows with him on before. I can”t stand that arrogant %$#&*(
