Big Brother 14 Recap: Week 3 Episode 8 Nomination Ceremony

Big Brother 14 is possibly one of the most infuriating, confusing, and unpredictable season of Big Brother ever. If you’re a fan or foe of Big Brother 14 you  must admit this season will not be forgotten any time soon.  As Big Brother 14 heads into week three the show is already missing more cast members than they usually do by now. Big Brother 14 is already down four players and only eight left. This can only mean a major twist or change is about to occur on Big Brother 14.

As host Julie Chen reported Thursday on Big Brother 14,  America can vote if they want the coaches to return to the game and compete for the 500,000 grand prize.  The forums and message boards have shown a generally disapproval for this idea, but it would surprise no one if the Big Brother 14 coaches return to the game. So this may be the last couple of days before the game flips again. Enjoy your bond with your coaches now newbies, it won’t last long.

Last week on Big Brother 14, JoJo Spatafora became the 2nd houseguest evicted and the 4th houseguest to leave on Big Brother 14. Then, in typical, Big Brother fashion, her one ally and biggest target, Shane Meaney, won the HOH competition. Shane is easily becoming-besides the coaches- the biggest threat on Big Brother 14.  He, Frank Eudy, and Ian Terry also seem, at the moment,  to be the best physical and mental competitors. Logically, Shane should go after one of those players or Dan Gheesling‘s remaining player, Danielle Murphree just to get rid of one of the coaches.

I have a feeling he’s not going after any of those people.

So who did Shane Meaney put up for eviction on Big Brother 14?

Once Shane officially became HOH, the panic began for Janelle‘s team. Wil, especially, thought he may be a target. He also, falsely, assumed Mike‘s team would also be one of Shane’s target. Mike pretended he was worried about his team, so no one would suspect his alliance with Shane.

Britney began having a case of the Napoleon complex and she began to think she was more powerful than she was, and she was scaring little poor Ashley.

Once the houseguest actually came to Shane’s HOH room, the awkwardness intensified.

Once everyone left, Britney, Dan, Danielle, and Shane talked about putting Frank up for eviction. Shane was completely against it.

Joe (ugh, Joe) decided to make Shane breakfast to suck up to him.

Ashley told Mike about the magic of the dream board. I love Ashley. I don’t care if she’s portrayed as super dumb. She’s adorable.

Shane told Frank he wasn’t planning on nominating him and that Wil was the target.

Jenn talked about coming out to her parents. She wanted to make sure everyone felt comfort with her sexuality. Danielle told the DR room that Jenn eased her fear of lesbians and the gay community.

Glad Big Brother finally showed some Jenn storyline and tried to seem sincere in their presentation of her and her sexuality. Improvement from the scandalous Dumbledore incident from last season?

Everyone was pressuring Shane to put up Frank.

For the Coaches Competition there was three rounds. They had to use some form of exercising equipment. After each round someone would be eliminating and get to pick from a prize pool.

For the first competition, the coaches had to use their butts to gain points. Most awkward competition ever. Britney, again, was the first one eliminated. She won the ability to choose “Have Nots.” Ian volunteered again to be one. Good strategy Ian.

For the next round, they had to use hips to gain points. It gets weirder……

Boogie was eliminated and won 10,000. He had to split the money with two other people. Frank opted out. Then he was told the 10,000 was split in 6,000, 3,000, and 1,000. He of course took 6,000, gave Ian 3,000 and Jenn 1,000. Ian begin to cry he was so touched.

Finally, the tongue moving competition……seriously this is weird. Janelle won and lots of jokes about Dan and his tongue.

Then Dan won a party for five. He picked all the coaches, Danielle, and Shane.

As winner of the Coaches Competition, Janelle chose to save Wil, so this completely messes up Shane’s strategy.

America voted for cereal and salmon for the “Have Nots”  Oh, America. Boogie really enjoyed that too.

Janelle and Joe tried to talk to Britney and Shane about not putting them up. Then Frank and Mike came to talk to Britney. Britney really wanted Shane to put one from Mike’s team and one from Janelle’s team.

Shane’s final decision was to put up Joe and Ashley for eviction.

Happy about this nomination? On a scale of weird to insane, how odd was the Coaches Competition?
