WARNING: AMERICA’S GOT TALENT 2012 SPOILERS AHEAD
This post contains America’s Got Talent 2012 spoilers from the reveal of the final four acts in the quarterfinals. Please do not keep reading if you do not want to know what happened!
***************************************************************
If you tuned in to America’s Got Talent 2012 last night, you know that the competition was fierce. It was one of the best lineups I’ve seen go up against one another on the America’s Got Talent season 7 stage, and America had a hard task ahead of themselves last night.
Did you vote for your favorites to continue on in America’s Got Talent 2012? They are going to need all of the support they can get. The only prediction I feel safe in making, based on audience reaction as well as feedback from judges Howard Stern, Sharon Osbourne, and Howie Mandel, is that the greatest act from last night will be moving forward to the America’s Got Talent 2012 semifinals, and that is William Close and His Earth Harp. They were stunning.
I think I’d be safe in assuming that Ulysses will be out of the running, but America could surprise me. Or in this case, disappoint me. We’ll just have to watch and find out! Join me as the show airs for up-to-the-minute coverage and commentary on tonight’s episode of America’s Got Talent 2012!
Ulysses, Olate Dogs, and David “The Bullet” Smith are the first three to find out their fate tonight. Interesting pairing! I wasn’t a huge fan of the dogs, but of these three, that’s the one I’d pick if forced to choose. Let’s see what America thinks.
Side note: Sharon Osbourne, in her over-the-top bedazzled teal blouse, apologized to Ulysses for buzzing him during “his moment” last night, which I found bizarre. And that reveal pause, man. I can’t get over how freaking long it is. Ridiculous.
I was correct – Olate Dogs has made it through the quarterfinal rounds of America’s Got Talent 2012. After seeing them last night, I had serious doubts, but it looks like the nation’s love of all things furry (well, almost all things… where’s the tarantula love?!) has prevailed.
The first guest performance tonight was British X-Factor alumni Cher Lloyd, performing her hit “Want U Back,” a sugary sweet candy pop song that sounded like a mix of Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj. Not a fan.
Dance team Unity in Motion, child mariachi singer Sebastien El Charro, and harp player William Close are all on the stage right now. If only one goes through, I am pretty sure William Close and his room-filling harp will be it, but I would hate to say goodbye to my little mariachi man!
Alas, my poor little Sebastien is going home. I love William Close, and I’m thrilled to see such a uniquely talented individual move forward in America’s Got Talent 2012, but man I’m sad for the little guy.
Next to find out their fate are sand artist Joe Castillo, singing duo Eric & Olivia, and the guy of the busted nuts, Horse. It has to be Joe. If America has any shred of taste, they will have voted through Joe Castillo. He’s another that has a truly unique talent that happens to also be quite captivating.
Thank you, America! Joe Castillo is on to the next round. He’s only gotten better with each act, and I’m so excited to see what he brings to the stage in the next rounds of America’s Got Talent 2012. Judge Howard Stern made a comment about Joe’s beret yet again, looking to host Nick Cannon for backup. Nick, however, responded that he was ill equipped to give out fashion advice, pointing out his plaid pants. Joe Castillo took off his beret and tossed it to Howard. I like his style!
For the second celebrity performance of the night, the cast of Once took the stage for a lovely performance and ballad that was quite well done.
The last spot is about to be taken as we find out which out of Lindsey Norton, All That! and Eric Dittelman is the final act to continue to the America’s Got Talent 2012 semifinals. I can’t figure out who it’s going to be, but it’s between clogging group All That! and mind reader Eric, as dancer Lindsey Norton was eliminated. Less that one percent separated the two. Extremely close call!
I’m rather surprised that Lindsey was eliminated first. As giddy as she was on the previous episodes, she was equally visibly upset to be sent home. I’m personally pulling for Eric Dittelman. I’d like to see what else he can do.
America has spoken, and Dittelman it is. He has taken the final spot for the semifinals, despite Sharon Osbourne’s vote for All That!
We’ll be on hiatus for three weeks as the network covers the Olympics. I’ll miss the show!

Joe , as marketing value … To artist it’s hard to market self. But Joe has class …. Art bs dance…. Or wonderful dogs . So Dogs V.S. County . Will come back on that !E.Jay
Would it be nice to have the last two on closing night Joe Castillo “the sandman”, to the Harpman , the sounds of “World Peace”! Galaxy to the Stars ! America Got Hope
William Close is a great performer and since he makes his own instruments, it ramps up his appeal. I think he would be a great Vegas act but this show is known to be unpredictable. If William wins – great! If not, don’t beat yourselves up. I just got to see yesterday’s episode because I wasn’t home and usually I set my DVR but I forgot. So a Dish co-worker suggested the remote access app for my iPad which works through the Sling Adapter. It allows me to stream live TV or anything I’ve recorded and it works great with my Hopper too. So when I’m on my break this evening I’ll be able to catch up on tonight’s episode without having to wait to get home. Sebastien was fantastic but for one reason or another America didn’t agree. I’m not in the least bit surprised because America chooses what it sees as talent.
Happen to visit this site. Saw Beiber’s stuff. Not coming back here again. Who gives a crap about this no vocal talent puppet? Worst singer ever. You just want tweenies’ hits. Gzzz..
Justin is great. [Sadly the rest of this comment was edited for personal attacks. Foul language directed at the universe or the show in question is fine. Personal attacks are not.]
So WHO was the LAST act that got in?! It’s been over for almost 20 minutes!
Dittleman
Yup, Dittelman!
So sorry about that, guys… technical error caused it to not actually post the last that I’d written!
How they didn’t choose to Sebastian, it was one of the best. is sad… he really had so much talent… which is what the show look foor
I think little Sebastion should have been through. There is no way getting kicked in the private parts is anywhere as talented as alot of people that got sent home.
I agree that Sebastien should have made it through. No worries about the nut shot guys, though. They were sent home as well! Joe Castillo (the sand painter) was the one who made it through from that trio.
Give me a brake! This isn’t mexico’s Got Talent. Never should have been put through in the first place.
I’m going to hope that is a comment that you think the style of music just isn’t pleasing to your culturally biased ears, not that you are a blatant racist asshole. I do prefer to think positive.
I’m Native American and you’re ignorant to reality.
Sebastien is American he born here
Dude. He lives in San Antonio.
Its america’s got talent n he does live in america!! dumba**
