The Glass House 2012: Episode 6 Recap – Bold Moves!

With each week that passes on The Glass House 2012, I get more and more excited. Not because I am excited to see who wins, but because I am more excited for this shitshow to end. Each week they seem to be pulling at air to find something to make it better. They’re new tactic: get the contestants drunk so things can get interesting. Is this The Glass House ABC or is this Real World on MTV? The previews show some drunken drama and Erica gets messy, which is good because I don’t enjoy her one bit!

Jeffrey meets with Kevin and Mike and they discuss Gene. He voted for Kevin and they don’t get how he is so cocky about his stay in The Glass House 2012. Then, aster some drinks, Joy and Erica decide to have a kissing contest with Jeffrey. Meanwhile, all the others in the house just stare. For showmanship, Joy wins. For authenticity, Erica wins. Gene seems to get upset and walks out of the room.

The viewers have voted and for the next 24 hours, the players must walk backwards at all times. They then have a high school party and the viewers voted each of them with what they thought their high school persona, Erica is the drama queen, Kevin is the jock, Gene is the class president, Joy is the tease, Mike is the bully, Jeffrey is the class clown and Stephanie is the nerd.

After a night of drinking, Erica thinks that Kevin has been flirting with her all night and she goes in to cuddle with him. Kevin has Stephanie come and get her and then Erica has her drunken breakdown. She is so embarrassed, as she should be stupid idiot.

So, it’s a new night and it is a toga party. The players are all drinking, yet again, and Erica confronts Kevin about the no-cuddling thing. Kevin said he didn’t want to do things when they were drunk, but then Mike tells the other players Kevin is not interested in Erica at all. This sets off Joy (I seem to type that a lot). She gets pissed and says Kevin should be a man and tell Erica how he feels. She then walks out of the room. Gene doesn’t fully agree with Joy on this one, which sets off Joy even more. Stephanie and Gene talk about it one of the rooms and Joy comes in and goes off on Gene and says she is sleeping on the couch tonight. Every fight in The Glass House 2012 involves Joy it seems…she needs to go!

Joy then tells Erica what Mike said and Erica said she is going to get it figured, but Joy said she doesn’t want any more drama tonight. Then why did you say anything Joy???? Erica confronts them all about it and of course Joy comes in and starts running her mouth again. Telling everyone it is between Erica and Kevin, but she seems to have her stripper ass right in the middle of it too!

Now it is time to find out who comes back from Limbo on The Glass House 2012. Will it be Holly or Andrea? Holly heads down and Andrea is back in the house. Kevin’s alliance all talk and they say Gene is playing the most deceptive game in the house, since he voted for Kevin. Jeffrey told Kevin and Mike he wants Joy and Gene out of the house because he is sick of them.

Gene, Joy and Jeffrey talk and Jeffrey is starting to get worried about team captains this week. Joy is worried she may get voted because of her yelling at Mike and Kevin all the time, Gene said she is safe because the viewers want to see him happy. I think Gene needs to go…I am sick of him thinking he will be here until the end! Joy said she isn’t his concubine!

Time to find out who the two least popular players are and will be team captains this week on The Glass House ABC. The two players are: Stephanie and Mike. I am shocked! Stephanie received the least number of votes, so Mike gets first pick. Kevin’s alliance is happy because this is a chance for them to make a move. I don’t get how Stephanie is in the bottom two because she has stayed on the down-low, but then again no one notices her.

The team captains make their picks and Mike chooses Gene, Jeffrey and Andrea. Stephanie picks Erica, Joy and Kevin. Mike and Kevin talk and they think Mike’s team has no reason to win, so they can send him and Andrea into Limbo and Stephanie doesn’t want to go to Limbo against Kevin…this could be interesting!

It’s team challenge time and they will have to decode clues in order to solve a series of puzzles and answer a final question. Two players will be on the wheel spinning, one player will be the spotter and the suggested captain spot will be the puzzle solver. The team that solves the puzzle the fastest will be the winner and the puzzle solver for that team will get an added bonus. Stephanie wants to be the puzzle solver, which seems fitting for the nerd. Joy is the spotter and Erica and Kevin are spinning on the wheel. Stephanie gets the first two puzzles solved quickly. They seem to be moving well, but you can’t tell on this one. There is too many things going on to tell time.

For Team Mike, Gene is the puzzle solver, Mike is the spotter, Andrea and Jeffrey are spinning on the wheel. Gene is jumping around the board and not doing them in order. Mike and Gene are not on the same page and things seem to be going awry. Gene is all over the place and not moving fast. It is edited to look like Gene may have blown this one for the loss, but who knows.

Time to find the results, the winning puzzle solver gets a trip to Vegas, dinner and tickets to see Celine Dion. Team Stephanie completed their task in 11:37. Team Mike completed their task in 17:23, so Team Stephanie wins and she is going to Vegas!

Jeffrey, Erica and Stephanie talk and Jeffrey wants to keep Andrea, who he thinks will be a team captain next week. He wants a popular player to go up against Mike in Limbo, but the girls don’t know if they can do that. Mike and Kevin said Mike blew the game and put too much trust in Gene.

Time for the vote on The Glass House 2012. After the players voted, the player joining Mike in Limbo is Jeffrey. Will his strategy pay off or will Mike come back next week? Vote for your player right here!

  1. Angus Kart says:

This game is designed so the losing captain ALWAYS will go home.
So all of the strategy and alliances and vote counting to determine who goes to limbo with the losing captain is ultimately meaningless and wasted effort.
For some reason none of the players have figured this out to its logical conclusion.

Captains are the 2 players with the least votes. The losing captain must go up against somebody voted in by the players who has already been proven to be more popular with the viewers. Hence the losing captain always goes home.

The person voted into limbo always comes back PLUS gets immunity from being captain the following week.
Jeffrey made a smart move by volunteering for limbo. Though fromhis words on feed agyer the fact it appears it was entirely by acciden and he hasnt figured out that the losing captain will always go home.
