Parenthood 2015 continues with only three episodes in the Parenthood Season 6 final season. Does Sarah Braverman accept Hank‘s proposal? Are Joel and Julia for certain getting back together? What will Camille and Zeek decide about his surgery? Adam and Crosby have a big decision to make about the recording studio–keep trying or take the insurance money and run? Read on for tonight’s Parenthood spoilers and recap of tonight’s episode of the Parenthood 2015 farewell season.
Last week’s episode of Parenthood 2015 was full of drama and emotion–of course! The Braverman clan joined together at the hospital to support Zeek, as he made it through surgery. All the family scenes made Hank want to be a part of something like that, it seems, and he proposed to Sarah! Tonight’s episode continues with that, along with other Braverman decisions.
Zeek starts off with a decision to get rid of his beloved signed baseball to his great-grandchild (Amber’s baby), which concerns Camille. Meanwhile, Adam and Crosby are upset that the thieves took their Janis Joplin picture. Crosby puts a picture of he and his bro in its place. I guess they’re going to stick with the Luncheonette. Amber gets to her apartment to get a huge package in the mail–a crib from her dad.
Sarah wants to talk about the “giant tomato in the room.” It’s an elephant, says Hank. Sarah wonders if the proposal was real. Yep, he wants the “whole wedding enchilada.” He meant it all.
Julia comes home from running to find a picture of Joel in a drawer. So she calls him to ask what they are doing. He’s wondering the same thing. They should talk but don’t seem to know what to say. So he’s on his way over, as she runs to freshen up. Now what, as he gets to the door. Dang, she jumps him! THAT I did not expect. Wowza!
They wake up together in bed. “So that happened,” Julia says, as Joel gets frisky again. But they still need to talk. They’re looking pretty happy, as Sidney knocks on the locked door. The parents scatter to get dressed, Joel hiding under the bed. Sidney texts her dad about something she left at his place, and they hear him receive the text. Julia says it was her phone, and rushes her daughter off to school.
Zeek is giving away stuff, it seems–some mysterious old film to be processed to Max. Zeek asks Adam about the Luncheonette. Adam wants out, but it’s Crosby’s dream. Dad says Crosby can handle letting it go; he’s turned into a man now.
Mom Sarah to the rescue to help Amber put her crib together. Amber is frustrated that it’s so hard to assemble. Her dad just sent it and left it for them to put together–typical of him! Sarah is supportive and makes Amber laugh.
Adam goes back to talk to Crosby about wanting to give up the studio. He thinks it’s best. Not for me, says Crosby. Adam has loved working with his brother but wants to get out from under the debt. A disappointed Crosby says he understands. But does he?
Hank returns to his shop, where Sarah is borrowing a hammer for the crib assembly. Hank wonders of Sarah’s list of pros and cons for marriage. Hank says he’s working on the communication and stuff. Sarah needs more time. Max barges in, wanting to develop his mysterious film. Sarah leaves after Hank makes sure Sarah isn’t saying no.
Julia and Sarah are doing Pilates in the park. Julia tells Sarah about hiding Joel from the kids. Sarah shares that Hank proposed. Julia says she should make a list of pros and cons. Pros–stable, kind, funny, good with family, taller than she is (ha!) . . . . So far, so good.
Crosby gets home to Jasmine and baby. She can tell something isn’t quite right. “It’s over,” says Crosby. He looks pretty bummed. Now what?
Julia and Joel are talking now at a diner. Julia doesn’t want to give the kids “false hope.” But is it that, asks Joel. No, there’s hope, but we have to know we’ll make it, says Julia. Joel says he’s in, he loves her, and they will work it out, even though she’s a “hot mess.” Julia asks what he thinks about Chris, since she works with the ex-boyfriend. He can deal with it. Julia says she’s emotional and not always thinking clearly, and that’s when Joel left. He won’t again. Then Julia says she knows she was hard to live with. He tells her he will never leave again. Never, never.
So now what is Zeek going through? 72 years of memories in a storage unit. He asks Drew to help him look for his baseball. Zeek sits down, worn out. Drew apologizes for ruining his granddad’s plans to take wifey to France. Zeek isn’t angry with him, but anger is usually felt for the ones a person loves the most. He uses his sons as an example when they were growing up. Then it hits Zeek. He hid the baseball from the boys because they wanted to play with it.
Hank and Max are in the darkroom developing photos. Max thinks the film is from when his dad was growing up. The first pic that comes up is Sarah. Max says his dad says she made a bunch of bad choices in her twenties. Hank then goes on to say he has a list of pros and cons about HER, too. Hank and Max agree that Sarah talks too much.
There end up being some cool pictures of the kids growing up, some pics 40 years old, in black and white. Camille reminisces with Sarah, who is tearful. She tells her mom about Hank’s proposal and her list. Mom had a list, too, but she didn’t go by it. But should Sarah? Does she love him? Does he make her happy? “What else is there?” Mom asks.
Now we go to Adam having a tea party with daughter Nora. And he’s wearing a purple boa when Jasmine shows up at the door. She understands about The Luncheonette and what’s right for his family, but then there’s her family, too. Jasmine says there are reasons to keep it open, and Crosby is devastated. Would he reconsider? He’ll think about it.
Aw, Hank, showing up at Amber’s to help with the crib. Amber is excited and hugs him.
Adam goes over The Luncheonette numbers, when Kristina walks in, surprised. Crosby is a “big boy,” and he will be okay, says wifey. Adam says Crosby and The Luncheonette saved him when he lost his job, and now he wants to be there for Crosby. Kristina looks upset.
Sarah shows up at Amber’s as Hank is finishing up the crib. Amber is crashed on the couch, so they try to be quiet. Then Sarah says “yes” to his question. Aw, sweet. Hank is stoked and kisses her!
Fun for Julia and kids at the ice skating rink. Julia calls Joel to just say hi. They both seem so happy! Joel just wants to hear her voice.
Adam goes back to join Crosby at The Luncheonette, saying he has changed his mind. Seriously? Crosby looks hopeful. “It’s gonna work,” says Adam.
And then there’s Joel! He shows up at the skating rink! The kids are excited. I think Julia is, too. He takes her hand and kisses her! In front of the kids. “Woah,” says Victor. The kids smile as the two skate off together. I guess it’s official now. I just got goosebumps!
Zeek shares with Camille that he remembers where the Reggie Jackson baseball is–in the rafters at the old house in the barn. Gosh, I miss that place! It looks different, with a new paint job and kids’ stuff all over the yard. The two watch and laugh at the kids playing in the yard with the dog with a pregnant mom looking on. Reminds Zeek and Camille of themselves, methinks. Zeek decides not to knock on the door. He’ll just let those kids find the baseball someday. They’ll love it.
There’s only one episode on the farewell season of Parenthood 2015. It looks like Amber is having the baby, and Zeek and Camille have made a decision about his surgery. Joel and Julia look to be reuniting. And will Zeek make it to walk Sarah down the aisle? We’ll recap the Parenthood Season 6 final episodes right here.
