The new season of Project Runway 2012 premieres Thursday on Lifetime and host Heidi Klum has already spilled the beans that two of the Project Runway season 10 cast designers in the opening episode will quit early on!
Project Runway season 10 debuts tonight on Lifetime with supermodel host Heidi Klum and mentor Tim Gunn. Judges Michael Kors and Nina Garcia will also be returning this year to dress down the Project Runway 2012 cast designers on the runway.
For the Project Runway 10 premiere challenge, each of the 16 new Project Runway 2012 cast designers will be asked to create an outfit that best represents their style. The designers will then have to show off their creations in front of a live audience in Times Square.
According to host Heidi Klum, speaking to the Huffington Post, two of the Project Runway 2012 cast designers will quit early on the season. Even worse, they’ll actually “leave in the middle of the night” while everyone is asleep. Klum called the two Project Runway 10 cast members who quit “childish” for suddenly quitting the show in the middle of the night.
“You would think that a grownup would say, ‘Thanks, but I can’t make it work. I’ve got to go early or something,’” Klumn told WetPaint Entertainment. “This is something that a kid would do, but we were all very surprised. But if people can’t make it work then leave the spot for someone else that wants to make it work.”
