Tonight is the night for Duets TV Show 2012. It is the finale and we find out which of the Final 3 singers will be crowned the winner of Duets 2012 and receive the recording contract! It is down to J Rome, John Glosson and Jason Farol. We have a mix of styles in the Final 3, but one of them must be named the winner tonight…but who will it be?
This is how it went down last week on Duets TV Show 2012. Each of the amateur singers had one more chance to hit the stage with their Duets 2012 Superstar coach. Then they had the chance to take the stage and sing alone for the first time. To be honest, none of the singers impressed me with their duet performances. J Rome was good, but didn’t seem as in sync with Jennifer Nettles as he normally is. John Glosson was good, as well, but it just bored me and kind of tired of all the preachy songs. Jason Farol was good, but he sang the song before and it is the finals. He needs to bring out the big dogs and something new. I am giving this round to J Rome. Who do you think was better?
It was then time for the amateur singers to hit the stage alone on Duets TV Show 2012. J Rome gave me chills. He is meant to be on a stage and he is so comfortable up there. John Glosson went country for his solo performance and it was awesome. This is his niche and it made me fall in love with him again. Jason Farol tried to go more upbeat and I think he fell on his face. I was not impressed. I give this round to John Glosson. Your thoughts?
So, who wins tonight? While I didn’t give a round to Jason Farol, don’t count him out. His coach is Kelly Clarkson and she has a ton of fans out there and they voted her a winner on American Idol, so maybe they will do it again for her on Duets 2012. I don’t think so though. That leaves us with John Glosson and J Rome. Both have done amazing all season and J Rome was on top of the standings every week. John Glosson struggled and never made it to the top of the standings. I think that will continue tonight and J Rome will be announced the winner.

J Rome will win, he is awesome. All 3 have their own styles and their own group of fans….all 3 will probably do well with singing careers……..
I agree “janet,” J Rome is the total package, but so is Jason according to the voting fans so far as he has been on top two weeks in a row. That is an incredible feat considering how much he was struggling in the first five elimination rounds. For that reason, I have a feeling there could be an upset. Not only am I hooked on Duets, but I’m also enjoying watching because we save so much time since we can watch commercial free now with Auto Hop on PrimeTime Anytime recordings. That makes for a more fun evening and we can watch another show in the same evening.
