Tonight on CBS Big Brother 14, housemates are going to compete for the coveted Power of Veto. This power will allow someone to remove a nominee from the block, if they so choose. As past seasons of Big Brother have proven, this power can change the game entirely. So it may, in fact, be more powerful than the HOH powers. As Big Brother 14 is already panning out to be one of the most competitive Big Brothers in history, there is no doubt people will be playing hard for this veto.
In last week’s episode of Big Brother 14, Britney Haynes‘s team won HOH and she gave the HOH power and title to Willie Hantz. Because as Britney stated she thought it be a good way for him to cut some deals. She knew he’d have a big target on his back being the brother of Russell Hantz, one of the most notorious villains on Survivor. If Britney’s decison was smart, we’ll see tonight. Willie, with influence from Big Brother veteran, Janelle Pierzina, went against an already formed alliance with Frank and put Frank and Kara on the block. So will Kara or Frank win the veto and take themselves off? Or will someone else be their savior or will nominations stay the same.
Read on to find out how tonight’s episode of Big Brother 14 played out.

*******************************************************************
This episode of Big Brother 14 began with Dan, Kara, Frank, and Mike shocked by the nominees. And the six people alliance of Janelle and Britney’s team over joyed. Janelle called Mike a tool. Someone is still bitter about Big Brother: All-Star……
Frank decided to do some damage control and talk to Willie about his nomination. Willie told him it was because he knows Mike is coming for him and it worries him.
Janelle and Britney giggled about their plan and their alliance being the best thing ever. Really Janelle and Brit? Better than The Renegades and Chill-Town?
Mike and Dan talked about how this alliance proves the blonde alliance is real. Mike stated it’d be embarrassing if the two winners got out the house so soon and that’s not going to happen.
This is a big season of egos. They’re all (minus Dan, maybe) making Dr. Will Kirby seem modest.
To lighten the mood focus on Ian‘s strangeness and a lot of them sat around watching Ian kick himself in the face. Mike made a comment about him going from an alliance with Will to an alliance with Ian. Oh how the mighty have fallen.
Now, veto names were drawn. Besides, Kara, Willie, and Frank playing, Wil, Shane, and Danielle were drawn to play for veto. Both Frank and Mike weren’t happy about those picks because it’d make it harder for Frank to win, Jojo and her voice were chosen to host.
Kara tried to persuade Shane to use the veto on her if he won. Shane basically said no but he realized he was a power player and could use this to make deals with people.
Mike finally decided to introduce himself to Britney in day 6, and try to find out how tight the Janelle and Britney alliance is, aka the ambitious alliance, according to Mike. Mike tried to intimidate Britney into putting up Janelle’s players up if his or Dan’s came off the block. Bit wasn’t going for it. You go, Britney. Pretty impressive. She then went and told Janelle what Mike did. Britney said her goal is to smear Mike’s name.
In an even more desperate move, Mike tried to convince Janelle they could all team up against Dan Wow, Mike is kind of a terrible player without Will. Of course, Janelle ran and told Dan what Mike said.
More lightness of Jojo and Danielle trying to micking each other’s voice.
The veto competition involved contestants running in soap suds to get coins and then tossing them to the laundry machine coin slot. The first one to get $1.30 wins.
Shane’s plan was to focus on the biggest coins, like dollars and quarters. Kara said throwing the coins in the slot was the hardest part, because of all the suds.
Frank was the first to find a dollar, but missed. Mike was going crazy with Frank continuously missing the slot. Finally, it was a tie between Frank and Shane, both only needing to get a 5 cents coin to win. Then, nearly perfect aim Shane got his coin in and won the first veto of the season.
Team Britney celebrated another win and JoJo talked about them being unstoppable, though, she hasn’t really done anything this season so far. Britney tried to make sure Shane didn’t use the veto but he basically said it was an individual game and he’s going to do what’s best for him. There is no I in team Shane, but there is a couple of I’s in a half million dollars. Both Mike and Dan tried to convince him to use the veto on their people.
After two super lame speeches,in a not surprising move, Shane, decided to not use the veto. So Kara and Frank are still up. Who do you think is going home on tomorrow’s live eviction episode? And who do you think will be the second HOH of Big Brother 14?

this season is turning into a waste of time… Ho hum predictable…
I wish CBS would wake up and just let NEW players play their own game. I am sick of former players being added to the mix and changing the game due to their influence via “star power”, unabashed ego or their thinking they know it all about how to win because they’ve been in the house ages ago!
Stop it CBS! Their are plenty of new players without force feeding us people we’ve seen once or more before now!
