In the new Comic-Con True Blood video trailer, we find out lots of tasty tidbits to come on season five. The Comic-Con True Blood trailer reveals that villain Russell Edgington (Denis O’Hare) will shortly be crawling out of his sick bed and be back on the prowl. We also find in the True Blood 2012 spoilers from the video that Eric’s maker, the late and great Godric (Allan Hyde), will ghost in for a quick appearance. Also revealed in the True Blood spoilers from the Comic-Con trailer, we find out that werewolf Alcide (Joe Manganiello) will finally accept the mantle of pack leader.
Thanks to a fan queston, we also found out from the Comic-Con True Blood panel there will be three new romances this season… not just random hook-ups, mind you, but actual romances. There’s also a lot of other people having sex, but those don’t count as romances,” showrunner Alan Ball stated. Ball also said fans are “going to learn a little more about Michelle and Corbett Stackhouse and what happened to them and the effect of what happened to them on Sookie and particularly on Jason,” he said.
