We are down to the Final Four on Duets TV Show 2012 and America voted again last week and it is time to see who will be sent home tonight in Duets 2012 recap. After finding out who makes the Top 3 on Duets TV Show 2012, the amateur singers will take the stage with their Superstar partners (Jennifer Nettles, Kelly Clarkson, Robin Thicke and John Legend) and sing songs picked by the Superstars! Last week on Duets 2012 we saw the Final Four take on some of the industry standards and they shined bright. With only four singers left (J Rome, John Glosson, Jason Farol and Bridget Carrington) they all have talent, but it is all down to what America votes and we all know that America can vote crazy. We’ve all see on shows like American Idol and Dancing with the Stars, things don’t go as we expect and be prepared for that tonight on Duets TV Show 2012.
So, come back tonight at 8/7c for my Duets 2012 live recap. It should be a very entertaining show tonight. Last week we saw the Superstars perform duets for everyone. You know what I want to see tonight? I would die to see a duet between Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Nettles…don’t you agree? Tune in tonight to Duets TV show to find out if my dreams come true!

Duets TV Show 2012 kicks off tonight with the Superstars taking on Get Ready by The Tempatations. It was so fun and I loved how the dancers carried Kelly Clarkson across the stage…so funny! Next week is it folks. The Duets 2012 winner will be announced…how crazy! The Final Four take the stage to determine who goes home tonight. First up are Bridget Carrington and Jason Farol and one of them are in the bottom two. Jason Farol is safe and in the Final Three! Of John Glosson and J Rome, one of them is in the bottom two. That person is John Glosson. So, we have John Glosson and Bridget Carrington in the bottom two. The person leaving us tonight on Duets 2012 is…Bridget.
Tonight the Duets TV Show 2012 singers will also be singing solos before we find out the winner next week! Up first tonight are J Rome and Jennifer Nettles, who will be singing Breakeven by The Script. I love me some J Rome, but this is the first time I didn’t feel the chemistry between him and Jennifer. I think he can sing, but it wasn’t as in sync as they normally are. Do you agree? Robin Thicke said you sounded great and made it your own. John Legend said everything is right for your voice and your chemistry is infectious. Kelly Clarkson said you rock and you did so well and you chose to go outside the box.
Up next on my Duets 2012 recap are Jason Farol and Kelly Clarkson and they will be singing Me & Mrs. Jones by Billy Paul. Believe me, Jason has gotten so much better from week one of Duets 2012, but is it enough to win it all? I don’t think so and this song was sung well, but it bored me…anyone else? Between my yawns, I think he did good. Jennifer said she loves the niche that you are finding and I love you and where you are going. John Legend said he thought that last week was better than this week and this is not a great song for him and this felt like the six weeks ago Jason I was worried about. Robin said you need to sing to Kelly like she is Mrs. Jones.
Last up for the duets portion of Duets TV Show 2012 is John Glosson and Jennifer Nettles and they will be taking on The Prayer by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli. So, I think John Glosson is a great singer, but I am kind of over him. This Jesus and prayer songs every week is getting old. Can he really be a successful singer if he wins the recording contract? John Legend said his voice is magnificent and that song took advantage of all your strengths. Robin Thicke said his voice is just magical. Kelly Clarkson said there is something super special about your voice and it’s hypnotic.
It is time to see what the singers can do on their own and first up is J Rome singing Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder. Well, he just gave me chills. This guy is a pro and it showed in this performance. He can work a stage and he can sing. He is so comfortable up there it is insane!
Now it is time for John Glosson to take on his solo, as he sings Bless The Broken Road by Rascall Flatts. Now this is what he should be doing. I can hearing him as a country singer and he sounds like the lead singer of Rascall Flatts. This made me fall in love with John all over again!
The last solo of the night for my Duets 2012 recap is from Jason Farol, as he takes on Runaway Baby by Bruno Mars. I think he has done well in this competition, but I think he chose a bad song. I am not a fan of it and he tried to take on too big of a song in this choice…agree?

John Glosson has the most beautiful voice I have heard on ANY TV talent show PERIOD. Better , by far, than anything on American Idol. Word is “Idol” auditioned him, said he had the talent to make it, but told him he to lose weight and they would take him. American Idol is more of a popularity contest than a talent contest now. I vote for the talent – not appearance……. John Glosson gets my vote.
Duets is a popularity contest as well. Any show that requires America to vote and the person getting the most votes is declared the winner is a popularity contest.
J Rome is a pro – been doing this for years with the Michael Jackson Revue and has a fan club on YouTube with over 150,000 members. Some how he qualifies as an amateur? He’s good – just saying. The writer says John Glosson is a “great singer”, Legend says John Glosson’s voice is “magnificent”, Thicke said Glosson’s voice is “magical” and he was the best tonight, Kelly said Glosson’s voice was “super special and hynotic”……. sooooooo why hasn’t he finished in 1st place in the voting? Could it be bias against his appearance or the fact that he isn’t as polished a showman as J Rome? Simply put – Glosson has the best voice and should win.
You are kidding, right. Has a nice voice, but limited. Weight isn’t an issue.

This show does have some elements that are left to be desired and the contestants aren’t really as big a part of this show as they are on other competitions. Some of the contestants are pretty weak but with the singing judges it works. Nonetheless I am a fan of Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Robin Thicke so that’s enough reason for me to watch the show. I’m at work right now so I made sure to set my DVR but a Dish co-worker suggested downloading the remote access app for iPad. It allows me to stream live TV or anything I’ve recorded through the Sling Adapter and it works great with my Hopper too. So I’m going to be spending my lunch break catching up on tonight’s show and I think I might do that for the rest of the season. My guess about Bridget going home was not a surprise but I’m hoping that Jason will win. He has grown so much and Kelly has really worked hard with him to put him where he is today.

I chose they young kid Jason, but really Can I vote for ALL of the judges AND the host of Duet?!!!!! They have searched for and found amazing talent, and all of them are just perfect for this show!! I find Duet ENTERTAINING!
