Dallas 2012 Recap Episode 6: The Enemy of My Enemy

In our Dallas 2012 recap last week, we revealed yet more backstabbing and nasty scheming afoot as the families of the new Dallas TV show continued down the path to destruction and dysfunction.

***********************************************************

The nice, no conflict, son Bobby raised revealed he was willing to blackmail others to save Southfork. He’s tired of seeing his father upset and wants John Ross to find evidence that JR knew about the Del Sol fraud.

Christopher is still holding onto the intimate tape Marta Del Sol made of John Ross and herself and is willing to use it against him if John Ross doesn’t give up some information about JR soon.

Trouble began to brew last week on Dallas 2012 with JR’s plan to drill on Southfork after Bobby’s wife Annie secretly met with her ex-husband, Harris Ryland, who is in charge of most of the oil tankers in Texas, and had him order his trucks to stay away from Southfork. Bobby was not happy about this development because people like Harris Ryland never give a favor without strings attached. Rebecca is doing her best to get Christopher, Bobby, and Annie’s trust back.

In a continuation from last week’s Dallas TV show recap, Rebecca continued to hide information from her brother Tommy. She was looking through Christopher’s documents for Tommy in search of something they could make money on. Instead, she found something to help Bobby and Christopher get Southfork back.

The document she found was a copy of an invoice. The invoice was to Bobby’s grandfather and revealed that the land rights and mineral rights to Southfork are separate. So JR owns the land but not the oil. The only problem was that they needed to find the key to Bobby’s grandfather’s safety deposit box to get the original copy. Christopher tried to convince his dad into letting him blackmail John Ross, but Bobby said there is not good side to blackmail and they would get Southfork back the right way. The two went to the safety deposit box and found the original trust deed.

John Ross may be in over his head on Dallas 2012. He made a deal to give 14 percent of the oil profits to some bad people. After getting a visit and a threat from the guy he is doing business with, John Ross turns to his mom, Sue Ellen for help. John Ross wanted her to use her political power to get oil tankers to Southfork. However, Sue Ellen did not want to go down that road or damage her image in any way during her run for governor. She gives in and goes to see Harris Ryland in an attempt to help John Ross out. She tried to make a deal with him to send his trucks to Southfork but he refused to let her compromise herself and sends the trucks back out anyways and gives a contribution for her campaign.

The drama continued in our Dallas TV Show recap when Marta Del Sol showed up at John Ross’s and tried to get him back. He turned her away but may soon regret it. When John Ross and Elena arrived at Elena’s place that night, the door was ajar and there was a knife in a picture of John Ross and Elena on the kitchen counter. Now John Ross fears that Marta is going to hurt Elena.

Bobby and Christopher presented the mineral rights trust to John Ross showing that JR does not own the oil, just in time to shut the drilling down. When Tommy hears about it he figured out that Rebecca gave them the document. Rebecca told Tommy she’s done dealing with him. She is still in love with Christopher and just found out she’s pregnant.

  1. Esperanza says:

I’m in love with John Ross, and I would like to stay with Elena

  2. HomeAgain says:

I love having Dallas back. It feels like home. This was the first episode where I felt like it was returning to it’s roots. It’s picking up stride and really becoming really interesting. I think anyone who tuned into episodes one and two, should come back and tune in again, it’s really Dallas again…

  3. Stephanie Carley says:

It said something along the lines of it being nice to see her when she came to do business with her. It may have been a reference to their past and that it why it brought up emotions for her. I think the reason Bobby has such a reaction to the note was because he does not like the type of business man Harris Ryland is and Annie has a lot of bad feelings towards him and he does not like that he Ryland went out of his way to send something to her. His motives for the gesture are unknown but I’m hoping the note and necklace will resurface in next weeks episode.

  4. Can someone tell me what the note said?

  5. Stephanie Carley says:

It has not yet been revealed as to why Annie was so upset about receiving the necklace. It was from her ex-husband Harris Ryland. He sent it after she went to see him and asked him to stop the oil trucks from coming to Southfork. Make sure you check next weeks recap because hopefully more information about the situation will be revealed.
