‘X Factor’ Whitney Houston Wardrobe Malfunction – VIDEO
Whitney Houston was the victim of a minor wardrobe malfunction during her performance on the British reality competition X Factor on Sunday. Houston didn’t let the mishap interfere in her singing, but she did raise questions about her state of mind after the performance with her odd behavior.

The Whitney Houston wardrobe malfunction on Sunday night’s X Factor was no Janet Jackson ‘nipplegate’ incident, but it did add a moment of levity to the pop superstar’s performance. Halfway through her rendition of her new single, “Million Dollar Bill,” a strap on the back of Houston’s dress popped in half. Nothing was revealed, thankfully. Houston shrugged it off and went on with the show after making a brief “shit happens” gesture to the audience.
While the wardrobe malfunction was nothing serious, Whitney Houston’s halting speech and confused answers to questions after her performance was a different matter. Her erratic behavior quickly launched speculation on gossip sites the singer was under the influence on the show – or possibly has just been irrecoverably damaged by her admitted history of drug abuse.
We’d like to believe Whitney Houston is just suffering from a bad case of the nerves after being out of the spotlight for so long. But more and more it appears all that heavy drug use has not only permanently diminished her amazing voice, but has also had an effect on her personality. The legendary voice may never be the same, but we can hope she just needs more time to regain her formerly confident and powerful presence.
