When Miley Cyrus suddenly deleted her Twitter account last week, she left millions of fans wondering why. Cyrus still hasn’t returned to Twitter, despite a massive #mileycomeback campaign from fans. Instead, the Disney star has taken to YouTube to explain her actions.
Miley Cyrus shocked fans last week when her Twitter account suddenly vanished. Shortly before the account was deleted, Cyrus posted a final message saying rumored boyfriend Liam Hemsworth “doesn’t have a twttr & he wants ME 2 delete mine w/ gd reason.” Then, abrupt silence as @MileyCyrus vanished from Twitter.
Even Miley Cyrus dad was upset by the news, along with her near 2 million followers. Posting to his own Twitter feed, Billy Ray Cyrus begged his daughter to reconsider deleting her Twitter account. “Miley. You are a light in a world of darkness. You were born ‘Destiny Hope Cyrus’ for a reason. You can’t leave everyone now. We r countin on u.”

We personally think it is a bit rude to suddenly dump 2 million fans on Twitter. After all, fame is the price of celebrity and those fans pay the bills. But, on the other hand, we can understand a girl wanting a bit of privacy. What we don’t get though is why Miley Cyrus couldn’t have just said “hey, I’m not going to Tweet about my private life anymore” and just kept the Twitter feed alive for official announcements about her work. Seems a bit of overkill really.
Miley really got her singing talent from Billy Ray Cyrus, no doubt about it.;*.
Defo made me lol, she’s grown on me over the years and while a part of me thinks this was for attention another just thinks it’s hilarious, not so keen on the gum tho.
