Is Michael Jackson still alive? As ridiculous as the rumors may seem, some people think a video currently circulating on the Net shows Michael Jackson alive and well hours after his supposed death. The Michael Jackson alive video is widely considered to be a hoax, but that doesn’t stop some MJ fans from desperately wanting it to be true.

The video, which is amateurish at best, shows a man alleged to be Michael Jackson bounding out of a Los Angeles coroner’s van like he hasn’t a care in the world. The video does not show the man’s face, just a brief shot of his side and back as he enters a building, accompanied by the supposed driver of the van.

In the description of the video, which was originally released on LiveLeak.com, the poster states: “This video shows that Michael was still alive after his dead body was transported to the Los Angeles Dept. of Coroner I checked the license plate number and it looks like the King of Pop is jumping out of the same van, his dead body has been in. I got the original video tape from a trustworthy source. I know him for years. And I am sure it´s real and Michael is alive.” Naturally, the poster of the video used has little information about himself listed on LiveLeak other than his username – LosAngelesCot24 – and his location. The video was his first post to the video hosting service.

We’re personally on the side of those who think the Michael Jackson alive video is rather sad attempt to gain publicity through a hurtful hoax. But you can view the video for yourself and make your own call.
