Despite the efforts of CBS to block the premiere, ABC was given authority to move on with production of The Glass House 2012 and we shall see how it all works out with the premiere tonight at 10/9c. The judge ruled The Glass House TV show is different than Big Brother, in that the audience is involved in how the show works and what the contestants do. The Glass House ABC is going to be exciting and I think it could bring in some major ratings for ABC, especially with the court battle bringing even more attention to The Glass House 2012.
The Glass House ABC is an exciting and interactive real-time reality competition where the viewers are in charge. The Glass House 2012 features fourteen contestants living and competing for $250,000 in a totally wired, state-of-the-art house. But the contestants aren’t just playing the game with each other…they’re also playing the game to win over the audience each week. Through online and social networks, viewers will be encouraged to support and follow The Glass House TV show contestants they like and those they don’t. Viewer votes will help determine which contestants are sent home and also which eliminated players will earn the chance to return to The Glass House to compete each week.
Exciting, huh? Not only will you be watching The Glass House 2012, but you will be involved in determining the winner and can even communicate with the contestants…sounds cool to me!

Sounds just like the UK Big Brother, where viewers vote for the winner so the contestants pander to the camera. Well, more than usual that is.
