Love In The Wild Season 2: Episode 2 Recap – The Claws Come Out

We saw the premiere of Love In The Wild Season 2 last week, as 14 men battled for the attention of seven women in hopes of pairing up with one of them and moving on to another week. The women had all control last week, but things look to be switching this week and we may even add some more women into the mix. The claws will be coming out tonight!

After the Couples Choice Ceremony on Love In The Wild 2012, the new couples return to the cabins and mingle with each other. Tim thinks the other girls are upset Summer took him first. They all start heading to their own beds, as the couple start getting friendlt, especially Ken and Yanina.

The couples meet Jenny McCarthy to find out their next journey, in which they will come across a very old farmer that has information they need to complete this journey. They will build a net with materials that are scattered across the field and also find their first map. The winning couple will stay in the Oasis and one man and one woman will go home tonight in the Couples Choice Ceremony.

The Love In The Wild Season 2 couples rush out into the field to find the nets and maps. Ali and Chase are doing well and seem to be off to an early lead. Shauna and Ryan are struggling to find the net, while she is whining and complaining the whole time. Ryan eventually finds it, but they are the last one to find it.

Ali and Chase arrive at a cliff and they must jump off down into the water. Ali is scared, but Chase talks her into doing it with a little push. Summer and Tim arrive to the cliff next and jump together. Tara and Jesse are next to the cliff and they also jump together…the princess held it together for the cliff, surprising to me. Cina and Jason E. come to the cliff fourth and Cina has Jason E. jump first in case there were any crocodiles, he would get eaten first. Ben and Jenny are next in fifth and Yanina and Ken are right behind them in sixth to the cliff.

We are onto the next step in the journey on Love In The Wild 2012, as Ali and Chase arrive at the creepy, old farmer. For this stage, they must trade one Guinea Fowl for one map. They must use the net to catch the Guinea Fowl, which are in a pen full of chickens and other birds. As they start to catch them, it starts to rain. Ali and Chase catch a Guinea Fowl and trade it in for a map and compass. Tim and Summer trade in as well, but have lost some ground. Tara and Jesse catch a bird and try to trade it in, but it is not a Guinea Fowl and must go back in and catch another one.

The next phase of the journey is to run down the path, using compass directions, to find a tree with a wood carving on it. With Chase being in the military, Ali is feeling at an advantage for this task. Back at the pen, we now have four couples all in the pen trying to catch a Guinea Fowl. Ben and Jenny make two attempts, but neither of them are a Guinea Fowl. Tara and Jesse find one and get their map and compass. Cina and Jason E. are next with their map and compass. Ryan is over Shauna and her constant bitching…he wanted to tie her up in the net. They get their Guinea Fowl and pass Ben and Jenny for sixth place so far. Ben and Jenny finally get their Guinea Fowl, but are hours behind the other couples.

Meanwhile, Ali and Chase are the first team to find the wood idol in the tree and they head over to find Jenny McCarthy and they are in first place this week and will be staying in the Oasis. Ali went from worst to first, how crazy. Following behind them are Summer and Tim in second, Tara and Jesse in third, Cina and Jason E. in fourth, who are sleeping in the cabins. It was a battle, but coming in fifth is Ken and Yanina and sixth is Ryan and Shauna, so they have the tents. Coming in last is Ben and Jenny, who will be staying in the lean-to.

Ali and Chase arrive at the Oasis on Love In The Wild Season 2 and Ali is loving it. Meanwhile, Ben and Jenny are using the lean-to to cuddle up to each other. Tara and Jesse are rocking the sheets in the cabin though, but I think they look like the Barbie and Ken! Ken and Yanina seem to be getting along so good and I think they will be making this work…a good connection. Shauna confronts Ryan on where things stand between them and Ryan doesn’t feel the connection and now either of them don’t know what to do. Shauna wants to be with someone she knows wants to be her Prince Charming, but she is too much for me to handle and that is just handling through a TV screen.

It is now time for reward time for Ali and Chase for winning the journey, so they will be riding a gondola up to the mountain top for a meal. Ali likes Chase, but still wants to get to know the other guys. In honor of Jesse’s birthday, the couples all have some drinks and cake. Tim apparently get sloppy when he drinks and turns into a douchebag. He starts throwing cake in the guys’ faces, but then goes too far and puts it in Summer’s hair…she is not happy!

So, Ben finished in last place and is worried that he may be going home, so he starts working it with Shauna in hopes of maybe sticking around for another week. He apparently wants to get to know her more…don’t do it Ben, she is annoying!!! Tim apologizes for the cake in the hair and they kiss goodnight, but Tim is still a douchebag. After the cake thing, Summer wants to get to know the other guys and her and Ryan are hitting it off, so I am thinking she is going to switch it up. Tim, however, thinks he is safe on Love In The Wild 2012…he is so dumb.

It is now time for the Couples Choice Ceremony on Love In The Wild 2012. Each couple will be called up in the order they finished their adventure and they each will be asked if they want to switch for someone else. Since Ali and Chase came in first and if they choose to switch it up, the person they ask cannot say no! However, if any of the other contestants decide to switch it up, the person they asked can say no.

First up are Ali and Chase and the guys get to chose first this week and they chose to stay together, so Couples Area for them. Tim and Summer are up next…Tim wants to stay, Summer had some red flags the night before and she wants to switch it up. Tim goes to the Unmatched Area. Summer would like to choose Ryan and he accepts, so Couples Area for them. Summer is a…well, she has picked a different guy everytime…figure it out! Next up are Jesse and Tara…they both would like to stay, so Couples Area for them. Jason E. and Cina are next…they both would like to stay, so Couple Area for them. Ken and Yanina are next and seeming they have coordinated their outfits tonight, they stay and head to the Couples Area.

Next up is Shauna and we are down to her, Jenny, Ben and Tim left on Love In The Wild 2012. Shauna picks Ben and if he accepts, that means Jenny and Tim will be heading home. Ben declines Shauna because he thinks Jenny should stay in the competition, so Shauna heads to the Unmatched Area. Ben and Jenny are last up and they stay together, duh, and head to the Couples Area. Shauna and Tim did not find Love In The Wild 2012, so they are heading home.

Well, we are now down to six couples on Love In The Wild season 2, but of course Jenny McCarthy has to throw a twist in it. Six new girls walk in and the claws come out…find out what happens next week on Love In The Wild season 2!
