The Amazing Race 2013 Spoilers: Who Won Season 23 Tonight?

It seems like we just started The Amazing Race 2013 season, but now we find ourself at The Amazing Race Season 23 finale tonight and only two more hours stand between us finding out who won The Amazing Race 2013 tonight! We start with four teams (Leo & Jamal, Tim & Marie, Jason & Amy and Nicole & Travis), but only one of them can cross that line first and get on that mat and check-in with host Phil Keoghan first! Who will it be? Find out during our The Amazing Race 2013 Spoilers Live Recap that follows!

The Amazing Race 2013 Spoilers - Finale

Last week on The Amazing Race Season 23, I lost the very little respect I had for both Jason & Amy and Nicole & Travis. They claim they want to play an honest game and Amy seems to be going for Miss Congeniality of The Amazing Race 2013 and not fighting for the $1 million, as she has helped everyone during this race. However, the week before Nicole tried to cheat to get help on a task and last week, the guys tried to get Jamal to lie to Marie about boiling the eggs so then they didn’t have to lie and keep their hands clean. So, it is okay for Jamal to lie on their behalf, but it is wrong for Leo & Jamal to lie when it doesn’t benefit them? Hypocrites and I want both teams to go home!

Things kick off with a look back at the season and all of the teams, but then a closer look into the final four teams. Who you cheering for tonight?

The finale kicks off with Jason & Amy starting things off and find out the teams are heading to Tokyo and will then head to the Gotokuji Temple for the next clue. They all get the same flight, but then at a layover, Leo & Jamal find an earlier connecting flight and take it. The other teams just drive me insane and have all agreed to work together to beat the Afghanimals and are annoying me already!

Leo & Jamal get to Tokyo first and head out, but then the other three teams all arrive and waiting on taxis, which are taking forever. Jason & Amy and Nicole & Travis don’t know the address and the taxis need it, but Marie has it and wants a taxi for them and she’ll give it. Travis gets pissed and says lets go, but the taxis won’t leave without a third! What happened to Nicole preaching about working together???? Such hypocrites!!!

Leo & Jamal get to the clue first and it is a Detour: Knock It Down, which is to become a human bowling ball, or Call It Up. They will do Knock It Down. The other teams arrive and get their clues and their taxi drivers can’t understand English and will not separate! Nicole & Travis want to do Call It Up, but it looks like they will be bowling!

We have Leo & Jamal at the bowling and they must each become the bowling ball and get a strike to get the next clue. It seems fun, but not easy to do on The Amazing Race 2013! I am beyond annoyed with Jason & Amy and Nicole & Travis. They get to the park and decide to do the other Detour, which is Call It Up. They do not tell Tim & Marie and let them leave and try and find the bowling! They walked to not throw them off, which is not playing an honest game. Anyone else annoyed by this?

For the Call It Up, one team member will get in a phone booth full of water and goldfish and make a phone call. They will then get out and tell their teammate what they heard. If they are right, they get the clue. Meanwhile, the Afghanimals got their strike and get the clue, which is to head to Shinjuku Chuo Koen.

We have Nicole & Travis and Jason & Amy both done with the call and moving on. Tim & Marie get to bowling and Leo & Jamal folded their clothes back up, so they think they are no where to be found. They are struggling with the bowling as well. They finally figure it out and get the strike and move on.

Leo & Jamal get to the next clue and it is their Speed Bump, which requires them to become an apprentice zookeeper. They will work with a crew and try to contain an escaped rhino! They start working and Jason & Amy and Nicole & Travis arrive. They get to the next clue, which is to build a robot. Of course, Nicole and Amy will build it together! The Afghanimals get done and Leo starts building the robot!

Tim & Marie arrive and Marie is building the robot, but can’t find the tiny model. She asks Nicole & Amy and they lie again and say they don’t know. She asks Leo and he tells her! Meanwhile, Nicole and Amy have to build two, so working together is stupid! Marie is catching up and Leo is going strong. This will be a first, but I am rooting for Marie to pass them!

The teams are all pretty much even, but are they correct. Leo gets his checked first and he is not right. Nicole is incorrect and Amy is incorrect. Marie has not asked for it yet, but everyone else is asking and wrong. Marie finally asks and is correct!!! They head out and now must find a roaming vending machine. She thanks the girls for not helping them as they continue. Nicole is yelling at Amy to finish one and get hers right.

Amy gets hers right finally, but sticks around to help Nicole some. Jason is getting pissed. Leo finally determines what is wrong with his and will rebuild. Jason and Amy finally head out, as Tim & Marie check-in with Phil Keoghan! They are team one and won a trip to Aruba!

Nicole gets it done and then Leo gets it done, so a race between them. Jason & Amy check-in as team number two. They make it look close, but Nicole & Travis get there as the third team on The Amazing Race 2013 finale and Leo & Jamal have been eliminated tonight!

The final leg on The Amazing 2013 finale is started and the teams will be heading to Alaska. Everyone for themselves on this leg, which is a change. The teams are all on the same flight, so here we go. They are off the flight and fighting for taxis. Marie could take them all!

They are on the boats and heading to the next clue, which is a Road Block. One of them must go up in the plane and do a supply drop and hit the flour bag on the target. Hit it and move on! The girls are all doing it and Amy gets it on her second attempt. The other two are struggling.

For the next clue, the teams will take a helicopter to do an ice expedition. They will climb up and find a clue in the ice and have to pick their way to it on The Amazing Race Season 23. Marie finally hits the target on the 12th attempt and they head out and Nicole is still a mess and Travis is pissed!

Do we have a runaway for Jason & Amy now? The producers don’t even bother showing us the attempt number, but Nicole finally hits the target and it is a super quiet helicopter ride! Jason & Amy make their way through the glacier tunnel and Jason is being nice to Amy and happy, but only because they are in first place.

Jason & Amy arrive at the clue wall and start chipping away to find the clue, but all they find are try again envelopes! They finally find it, which tells them to hike down and kayak to the marked island for their next clue! Nicole is climbing up the wall and slips and drops her one pick, so now how will she get up the wall??? She focused and dug deep and got up the wall with one pick!

We now have Tim & Marie get their clue and head to the marked island as Jason & Amy get in their kayak. Jason & Amy get to the island and get the clue. They will take a helicopter back to Juneau and head to Blueberry Hills Trailhead for the next clue.

And this is where it will get interesting! The final challenge: build totem poles for the currency of every country they visited. The poles must be in order of the country they visited. Jason & Amy have started and Amy memorized everything and took all the notes of everything but the currency. Marie says they know everything but Abu Dhabi, so hopefully that works out for them.

All three teams are working at the same time and Jason and Amy get it done first. They are checked out and are correct, so they get the clue and head out to the final Pit Stop. Shortly behind them are Tim & Marie, but can they catch them? Nope, as Jason and Amy cross the finish line and are the winners of The Amazing Race Season 23!
