It has been a very long and strenuous season for American Idol 2012 winner Phillip Phillips, but earning that crown on Wednesday night at the American Idol 2012 finale must have been all worth it for him. Now, Phillip Phillips can rest assured even more…he will be having his much-needed kidney surgery on Tuesday!
Phillip Phillips was going through great pain throughout the entire American Idol 2012 competition…all the result from a congenital kidney stone problem. Even though Phillip didn’t let it show throughout the season, he was in some intense pain…proof of that: Phillip Phillips endured EIGHT surgeries on his kidneys during American Idol 2012!!
As a temporary fix, doctors inserted a stent into Phillip Phillip’s kidneys seven weeks ago, but the pain was still intense…so intense, Phillip was forced to miss some of the production duties on American Idol 2012 (you may have missed seeing him in some of the Ford music videos and he was absent for most of the American Idol 2012 finale).
That is some crazy stuff and to come out each week on American Idol 2012 and sing the way Phillip did…you have to give him some major props. But all that pain will subside soon…Phillip Phillips is scheduled to have the kidney surgery on Tuesday!!! That is such a relief and he should have no issues and a full recovery within six weeks.
Don’t fret…Phillip Phillips will be recuperating in style…one of the American Idol higher-ups has offered them home for him and his family during the recovery…well, well, well. Here’s to hoping a speedy recovery for American Idol 2012 winner Phillip Phillips…get better and start making that record we all want to hear!

In my opinion Jessica sounded to karaoke on everything and she’s too young to start a career now….her stage presence was very poor…she has a long way to be trained to become a big singer…the voice is there…but nothing else….so for the pissed off fans …she didn’t won…sorry guys…America voted very correctly! I think we need Simon C. back!
Congrats philip philip I knew u will win, but about the kidney problems though u didn’t show any sign of that during the competition, and u never allow it 2 make you change your mind in leavin the competition. Am proud of u phlilip. God bless u and he will surly see u through the surgery. Take care.

Just want to say congrats Phillip Phillips on winning American Idol. My husband, Terry Picklesimer and I always try to predict the winner every year, this year my husband saw your audition, which I missed, and he couldn’t stop talking about you. He said and I quote “Phillip Phillips is one of the best singers I have ever heard. He will be the winner this year I just know it.” After I heard you I agreed with him. We did not know that you were in so much pain and having kidney problems, you never showed it. My mother Betsy Church and my husbands father Terry Picklesimer both had kidney problems and were on kidney dyalasis until they passed away, so we know a little about what you are going through. We will be praying for you that your surgery goes well with no complications and a speedy recovery. God can heal you in alot of different ways. I will have my family and my church Huntleyville GospelRevelation praying for you and have a prayer chain started for you that your surgery goes great and your kidnneys are healed. We can’t wait until your album comes out so we can buy one. The way you sing is just amazing, we love your voice and the way you can’t hold your legs and body still.
