Before The Voice 2012 live finale, my prediction for who won The Voice 2012 was hopeful that it would be rocker girl Juliet Simms from Team Cee Lo Green. On The Voice 2012 last night, however, a long brewing feud between Team Adam Levine and Team Christina Aguilera blew wide open. A nasty catfight allegedly happened between Christina and Adam over Tony Lucca‘s performance last night of Jay-Z‘s “99 Problems” that was reportedly a musical response to Christina’s snarky comments about Tony Lucca all season. Because of the possible sympathy vote backlash on both sides, I had to second guess my Voice 2012 winner predictions.
For The Voice 2012 winner tonight I am still leaning toward a win for Team Cee Lo’s Juliet Simms if the vote really is all about who performed best this season, but I would not be terribly surprised to see any of the four contestants take home the top prize, especially after all that ridiculous BS that erupted last night. They say all press is good press and if that is true, it could mean Tony Lucca will be walking away as The Voice 2012 winner tonight…
Now, however, it is time to put away the speculation on who won The Voice 2012 with America’s voters this season and find out the results. So let’s move right along to our The Voice 2012 live recap! (Videos of the performances will be posted as soon as they are available.)
The Voice 2012 opens Tuesday night with a group performance of “I Want You Back” by The Jackson 5 from Jermaine Paul, Jamar Rodgers, Pip and James Massone. The boys are dressed up like a boy band and receive a standing ovation from the coaches.
Now we have a duet performance with Flo Rida and Juliet Simms performing “Whistle” with “Wild One” on stage — the crowd is all over it!
Up next is Chris Mann singing “Bittersweet Symphony” by The Verve with Katrina Parker and Lindsey Parker. This makes me miss Katrina!
Performing now are Hall and Oates with “Rich Girl” accompanied by Jermaine Paul, Chris Mann and Tony Lucca.
Another group takes the stage with Naia Kete, Kim Yarbrough, Chessa and Sara Hill performing “Very Superstisious” by Stevie Wonder.
Now we have the last performance from Juliet Simms for the night, singing “With a Little Help From My Friends” by the Beatles with Raelynn, Jamar Rodgers and Erin Willet.
Lady Antebellum now graces The Voice 2012 stage to perform “Wanted You More” and the crowd goes wild!
Another wonderful performance with Tony Lucca and Jordis Unga singing “Go Your Own Way” by Fleetwood Mac. Nice blend of voices on this one.
Here is our last special performance for the night and it is the most anticipated! Justin Bieber hits the stage to perform “Boyfriend” and the girls start screaming all over the place. I thought it, well, kind of wasn’t very good though… Don’t kill me Bieber fans, I think it was just an off night!
Finally! We now have our results coming in and we have the final ranking…
In 4th and last place is Chris Mann from Team Christina! Did the mass of fans that dislike Christina cause him to lose votes?
In 3rd place we have Tony Lucca from Team Adam! Looks like that Christina/Adam feud and Tony’s performance last night did not win him any favors.
And the person in second place is…
Juliet Simms!
That means The Voice 2012 winner is Jermaine Paul! Wow! Of all the predictions out there for the winner tonight, he seemed to be the one least likely to take home the top prize. Juliet Sims apparently came in second by only 4% of the vote.

I thought that Juliet or Jermaine would win it all. But I’m for sure happy Chris Mann did NOT win because I don’t he would be very popular and In my opinion it would be just a waste of a season of The Voice. I’m sorry for all you Mann fans but he is not the best out their and I have the voice to prove it. He shouldn’t have made it that far in the first place. Back to main topic now I’m happy for Jermaine and anyway all four last season got record deals and are all sold on iTunes!!!So if one of your favorites didn’t win (Juliet, Tony, or Chris) They will most likely get record deals and record an album. So don’t be sad there is more music to come.
I feel Juliet should have won!!!!!! She sang from deep down in her heart!!! Where I don’t feel the others did. Your the winner Juliet! No matter what anyone else thinks or says!!!! Congrats to you!! I love your will, and your voice!!! Keep moving up. I for one will buy EVERY album you make!!!!
I thought Juliet might win because of her style and because a couple of weeks ago she did tear it up but america came through with who really deserved to win. Based on the performances last night. Juliet did NOT sing well last night and JERMAINE JERMAINE JERMAINE “flew” all over the place last night. PLUS he can really sing. I’ll say it again. He can really sing. And he’s gorgeous. And yes he deserves to win because he’s been workin at it for a long long time. So there. The right person won. And I think Xtina got it right about the dissing of women in the song last night and how she felt and as far as her boobs falling out – puhleese. Xtina you’re fine with everything about you. She’s not lewd or anything. And I’m a lot older than she is and her boobs do not fall out. yeah Christina. But mainly CONGRATULATIONS TO JERMAINE and for those who voted for him.
America finally got one RIGHT! Jermaine was consistently in the top of every evenings performance. Whether it was rock, country, or an r&b song…he was awesome. You guys pushing for Juliet are biased to the genre.
I was hoping Juliet Simm would win as well. She’s truly talented!! But Jermine is awesome as well.
Crazy how Blake Shelton came in second last season with Dia Frampton (she’s a great singer too . Different and unique) and this season his artist won!!! Way to go, Blake!!!
i think its sad that juliet simms didnt win the voice. she deserved it more than the others. to me she worked alot harder than the others. jermaine was a back up singer n i think that he had more advantage than the rest. juiet was my choice n still is. congrats juliet, u r awesome.
I don’t think there was a feud between Christina. I think Christina decided to be a creep to Tony and Adam stuck up for his team. He was minding his own business and got side swiped by someone who shoulda had a lot more class.
I knew it from day one that Jermaine Paul was going to win The Voice 2012. Jermaine had something special about him: Humility, Personality, great looks and most importantly, a Coach who BELIEVED IN HIM. Blake never wavered in his respect and awe of this singer. All the other coaches threw their top people to the curb in the pursuit of self-servance and Clique-ness. America voted for honesty and integrity. I have argued long and hard with friends, co-workers and family over these principals. It’s not about who has the best voice, but the most honest and true voice. No glam. America voted correctly. Go Team Blake 2012!

Seriously??? Tony Lucca was AMAZING!! Christina had it out for him since day 1! She is so full of herself and yes… Dresses like trash. Not to mention ANNOYING!!! America DID NOT get it right tonight. Hopefully Tony and Juliet still get recording contracts. Both deserve it!!!

Disappointed. As always America voted for the least original….be a little less predictable America……Then again, I prefer this guy over a counrty artist. The guy has talent nonetheless, so congrats.
Christina is an artist, she dresses uniquely all the times. Real artist means constantly artistic and unique. I really didn’t see any harsh words toward Tony. She is being real and encourage all the time. Love to see her on the show/. Without her the show is real boring. She is very talented, passionate and geniune in all she does… love her! SHE is real person.
