The American Idol 2012 top 5 will perform two songs on Wednesday night in their quest to move on to the next round. First up, the remaining contestants will preform a classic song from the ’60s, then they will head across the pond for inspiration to sing a British pop song. I’m always fascinated by what songs the American Idol 2012 contestants choose to sing and have fun after the song list is leaked trying to match the singer and the song for this week’s episode. This round, I admit figuring out which American Idol 2012 top 5 contestant is going to sing what song is a tough one! For most of the 1960′s songs, I just keep thinking ‘Joshua Ledet, Joshua Ledet, Joshua Ledet’ and for the British pop songs I’m just clueless on most of them.
